Weather looks to be holding off for Whitfield village show today. We are here with have a go agility and a scurries. There is also a fun dog show ( entries from 12 judging at 1pm) some fab classic cars and tractors. The infamous WI cakes and bakes, Tyne Valley Ices fish and chips. Games for the kids incl the bouncy castle ( apparently just for the kids… We’ll see!).
Tents of craft. Industrial kids and some fab retail of wood, leather, metal gifts etc

🐶The scurry will be novice advanced and intermediate against the clock.

🦮Ideal puppy socialisation.

🧶Crafts, 🥧excellent food, 🚜industrial tent and 🛍️shopping.

Bring cash as card machine can be intermittent - due to signal.

There is also a Dog show with rosettes.

This weekend North East Dog Festival Kirkley Hall. https://northeastdogfestival.wescantickets.com/

We are super excited to be part of this fab event for the 10th year !! Fastest recall, Temptation Alley and have a go agility ! Look out for our green flags, gazebos and orange fencing lanes near the wellness tipi.
£2 a go or x3 gos for £5. ( you can mix and match or go for all of one activity ) you can buy your tickets from us and come back later if theres a queue but it’s all super speedy and spectator spectacular so feel free to drop by and say Hi 👋 🐾🐾🐾

Celebrate our 10th anniversary at this year's North East Dog Festival. It’s a canine celebration like no other! Set against the picturesque backdrop of Kirkley Hall. With have a go activities, main ring displays, seminars, demonstrations, charity dog shows and shopping at over 120 exhibitors.

Meet this little superstar – Gremlin 🐾

I’ve had the absolute pleasure of meeting this sweet boy a couple of times, and he truly is a little smasher! His fosterer is someone I know well, and they speak so highly of him.

He’s still learning the ropes, but he’s full of heart and has the most endearing personality. A real softie who’s ready for his forever home 💙

Bon Bon found and was handed to Hexham police station where full blown attention was given. A happy end.

We are so pleased for our lovely friend and client Sophie who has set up her own Counselling and Psychotherapy space in Hexham. We know she’s worked incredibly hard to get here. Big shout out to Jarvis though who’s an active member of our training and socialisation groups and is the most sweet and loving boy. The perfect support to Sophie’s work.

Morning folks. Sad news. We said goodbye to Barney this morning. He was such a good boy. Dog of a lifetime. Had a few bad days but went with dignity and sausages and his dinosaur. Obviously we are devastated he was such a huge part of the Canny Canines family. He is the reason I do what I do. Things may be a little quiet round here for a bit.
