Well established and conveniently situated in Hethersett with ample free on-site parking, we are extremely easy to reach. We offer a friendly team,

a clinic tailored to the needs of our patients, comprehensive in-house diagnostics, separate cat/dog waiting areas, separate hospitalisation wards, an ICU ward, isolation, and much more. Now offering cardiology investigations, orthopaedic surgeries and specialist soft tissue surgeries for first opinion AND referral clients. Cryotherapy and Exotic service also available.

Important notice for Friday 12th June

Between the hours of 10am and 12pm the Practice may experience a power cut of up to an hour for essential maintenance work, if your enquiry is not urgent please contact the surgery after that time, as we will only have one emergency phone line in use, alternatively email us at [email protected]

Please also be aware that during that time we will have no access to our computer systems and records.

We will still be open during this period should you need us.

“I started working at Rowan House Vets in December 2024 and I qualified from the RVC in 2020 🎓

My favourite areas of veterinary nursing are anaesthesia and nurse consults, especially weight clinics where you get to build a relationship with the owner and pet and see their progress📉

Outside of work I am a crazy cat lady. I have two black cats Vincent Van Mogg with only 1 ear and Claude Meownet who was a hand rear that I have had from 2 days old. I enjoy spending time with my family outside of work along with reading books📕 “

With the bank holiday treating us to some beautiful weather we need to remember our smaller family members that will struggle to enjoy the heat as much as us🐶🐰🐈

Remember to only walk in the early morning or late evening when the weather is at its coolest and most importantly, remember it’s ok for your dog to miss a walk to protect them from heatstroke which can be life threatening to our pets❤️‍🩹

Everyone meet Grace🤗

“I have been at Rowan House 4 years this year starting as a Kennel Assistant in 2022! I then went on to complete a Veterinary Nursing Diploma and qualified in November 2025🎓

I truly love all aspects of nursing, however, I am really passionate about nutrition and educating owners and the public on how our pets diet can impact their every day life and creating that ‘light bulb’ moment when owners see the change in their pets💡 You’ll also typically see me running out to meet your pets when they arrive to give them as much fuss as possible😂

Behind the scenes I run our social media platforms and try my best to share everything to do with veterinary from the good, the bad and the ugly as we want to create an honest and open platform for owners and the public❤️

Outside of work I love to travel and spend time with my friends and family and cat, Tommy🐈 In the future I hope to complete a certificate in nutrition and work in different countries to widen my knowledge on nursing different species and volunteer in rescue centres around Europe🌍”

Suzy qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in November 2025 after starting with us as a Kennel Assistant prior to her nursing training👩‍⚕️

She has a keen interest in exotics and internal medicine and loves to learn everything from suturing to nutrition. In practice, she enjoys anaesthetics, lab work and kitten cuddles🐈

In the future, she would like to complete an exotics certificate and conduct specialised clinics such as diabetic patient management🐢

A part of the furniture…Charlie💘

Charlie has been in practice since 2010 and qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2014👩‍🎓

She has worked with our practice owner, Annalisa, for 9 years right back when we were Wymondham Vets and enjoys all aspects of the job, but she particularly loves caring for hospitalised patients🏥

Charlie typically only works with us on Mondays now as she splits her time between us and teaching Veterinary Nursing at Easton College to raise the new generations of RVN’s👩‍🏫

At home she has, as we all call her, the ‘Queen’ Scabby Cat, Gary the Gecko (who is female…you can find her story on our page) and lots of fish to care for🐠

Not only is he an absolute legend but he is one of the main reasons that we, the human race, are trying to change this world for the better to save our planet🌍

He is one of the most important animal welfare and environmental advocates living today from educating the public on different species around the world to turning Glastonbury festival to plastic-free🌟

“Hi, I’m Kerry! I’m a registered veterinary nurse, having qualified in 2021🎓

I have a special interest in caring for hospitalised patients and am passionate about advocating for their needs, helping to make their stay as relaxed and stress-free as possible❤️

I’ve recently returned from maternity leave and really enjoying being back at work! My days off are kept busy with my energetic toddler, Shih Tzu, and cat, who all bring so much joy and sunshine into my life☀️

Outside of work, I love being outdoors, especially travelling and hiking🥾”
