This fundraiser is for us to raise vital funds for the ongoing care the rabbits need from us. One bun in particular that is really needing our fundraiser right now is Freddie 🐰 Freddie joined just a month ago and has already racked up a hefty Veterinary bill 💔 due to dental. Fred was back at the vets today after biting his tongue on Friday evening & he may need his molars removed to stop any ongoing issues reoccurring frequently but this isn't going to be possible without this fundraiser.

Hey everyone 👋🏼, it's Ross here, tonight at 6pm we will be sharing our raffle and how you can get involved. Our raffle is to help us raise vital funds as weve been having to spend lots of time at the vets recently. Oh Bodger 😔

Yesterday, Bodger went back to Toll Barn Veterinary Centre Limited again after seemingly doing well without antibiotics he then declined again. Carrot and Biscuit Pet services have already done an update post but we know it's also best for us to update you guys too!
Over this last 6 days Bodg had lost a small amount of weight but he was doing well eating up until Wednesday. Yesterday, Bodger was a very sad piggy and he wouldn't even touch his veggies. Bodg's swelling is going down but there is still something that can be felt under the surface...
The plan for Bodger is that he is now back on all medications; 2 lots of pain relief, 2 lots of antibiotics, and gut stimulant, fibreplex and critical care feeds. If by the end of this course he doesn’t improve or he declines more we will sadly be having a serious conversation of QoL including pts. But if he improves when we could be looking at how to slowly decrease the medication he's on.
We would all love to see him join Badger with joining the herd at Piggybanksanctuary but myself, Emily and Piggybanksanctuary group are being very realistic in what we can do - our limit and ensuring that everything we do is in the best interest of Bodger 🐹💙

Please keep Bodger in your thoughts again today as he heads back to Toll Barn Veterinary Centre Limited this afternoon🙏🏼 Bodger has dipped again since coming off antibiotics last week and has been needing top up feeds again - the poor piggy isn't even interested in his veggies this morning 😢🐹 hoping a cause of antibiotics will help 🤞🏼

Sprout 🤍🩶🐇 & Tinsel 🤍🤎🐇

Look who's been reserved!! On Saturday Sprout and Tinsel will be leaving us after 204 days in rescue 😢. For those who don't know or may not remember Sprout and Tinsel were 2 of 11 rabbits we took in at the end of November to help ECPR with a case. Sprout was just 6-8 weeks old & Tinsel was just 3 weeks old and now they're 7/8months old.
They have won the hearts to many of you and in particular Sally's who fell in love with the very first photo she ever saw of Sprout. Myself & Sally are very happy to see them have their happy ending 😊 but it's sure an emotional one. They've spent over half of their 1st year in rescue - no fault of their own

PomPom was booked in for another grooming session with myself this evening after the grooming clippers came today 🙌🏻 PomPom is now a PomPom lighter and already feeling much better with having a groom to remove her fluff to manage the heat a lot better 💜🐰

🐇 Freddie & Luna 🐇

For the past week I've been bonding Freddie & Luna together to give them the company they deserve! Helping each other for different reasons.
Luna is 6 & Freddie is 2 both are under our care until they are ready for adoption.
This afternoon I dropped Luna and Freddie off with Sally Pet Share Society and settle them in which was so lovely to do as I don't usually get the opportunity to do that with any who needs to be in foster for us 🧡
It was also lovely to see their dog Henry have lots of fun with Freddie's stacking cups
