Systems update Thursday 7th May 2026

Clients are advised that TODAY,
Thursday 7th May, our computer system will be undergoing a software upgrade between 12:30 and 14:00. During this time we will not have access to computer records so will be unable to book appointments or make sales etc. However, if your pet needs urgent attention during this period please do not hesitate to call us to arrange for them to be seen.

We are still looking for volunteers for doggy blood donors, as our current hero’s come close to retirement. We are looking for:

🐾 large breed dogs, weighing over 27kg (greyhounds are excellent donors as they have a naturally high blood cell count!)

🐾 Ages 1-8 years old, fit and well and up to date with vaccinations

🐾 no history of travelling oversees

🐾 owners easily contactable and able to get the donor to the practice in an emergency

If you think you and your dog may be able to help, please contact the surgery to discuss further with our vet Rachel or nurse Eliesha.

⭐ We would like to say a HUGE thank you to all of our doggy donors, and their owners, who have helped us save the lives of the beloved canine companions of others over the years, you have all been truly amazing dog ⭐

As many of our current dog blood donor heroes come close to retirement we are seeking new blood donor to take up the baton. Our doggy blood donors play a critical role in helping us treat some of our most critically ill patients in an emergency. We are looking for large breed dogs weighing 27+

We have a beautiful young,male, neutered cat who is looking for a special home. Sadly he lost his leg and part of his tail in an accident. Please message the page with your contact number if you might be interested in giving him a new home 🐈‍⬛ 🐾
