Why I Love Animals
Ever since I can remember or rather my Mother told me, that as soon as I could walk I would always go and try to interact with animals, my first photograph as a toddler was walking with hens and cats on a farm. As a child I can remember having a budgie, a tortoise and my Sister 2 fish.
Many years later I am still fascinated and intrigued by animals of all shapes and sizes. My husband knows that if there is animal TV programme on I’ll be watching it. My daughters are also fascinated by animals and grew up with various pets learning how to care, enrich their lives and the tears when they were no longer around We have lovely memories of them all.
I have been horse riding for over 30 years and have shared horses and ponies over the years. Caring for them, grooming, massage, body language there is so much more to horses than just the riding. I always talk to the animals, yes I know they can’t understand me but a soft gentle voice can be calming and re assuring.
Sadly early in 2018 I lost my lovely chatty cat, he was only 10 years old, photo above. He was unique, sensitive, very vocal and a great companion. In October 2018 we rehomed 2 elderly sisters who are very playful, love sitting on your lap and make me laugh every day.
