Two Enzos! What are the odds?

Today we had two Golden Retriever puppies in store, who met for the first time. Both are named Enzo, and both live in Radlett. What are the odds?!

One of our good boys in Radlett.

We sold LOTS of coats and fleeces last weekend, in both stores. This handsome chap is wearing a Pawsome Suit, made from stretchy water-resistant fleece. As well as keeping your dog warm in the cold weather, it protects from dirt. It is quicker and easier to put the suit in the wash, than it is to wash your dog. We have several colours and sizings, inlcuding suits tailored for pugs and dachshunds.

Hillier Garden Centre will be open till 8pm tonight, showcasing their Christmas products. Our door will also be open till 8, in case anyone wants to do some Pet shopping this evening.

The photos are all from the Radlett store, but all the same stock (and more!) got put out in Hemel today. The store in Hemel was already full, and now it is REALLY full!

Hello everyone. I'm sitting at the computer at home, trudging through all the office work required to keep the business running. I am looking forward to working in Hemel's top secret pet shop tomorrow. This year hasn't been great in the Hemel store, but I can tell you with confidence that we aren't going anywhere any time soon, and I look forward to giving the store some TLC and getting things cooking again. Please keep talking to us, and about us. There are hundreds of Pet owners in Hemel who don't know we exist!

This is the last weekend that all the Halloween stock will be out. On 1st November it is all getting packed away, and LOADS of Christmas stock is coming out.

We are participating in a new loyalty scheme for Carnilove kibble, for cats and dogs. Customers who have an existing buy-7-get-the-eighth-bag-free card can continue to use and claim that, but new customers will be be signed up to the new offer.

We now have the Pawsome Suits 4 Leg fleeces in bright orange. Great for cold, dark winter nights. They are made from stretchy, water-resistant polar fleece.
Also, I came back from a supplier's depot with these lemurs. We have more than £2000 of Christmas stock waiting to be released in a few days, and we already have too many toys, so I was definitely not going to buy any more new toys, but then I saw these guys. No regrets!

Hello, Eric here. As some of you know, I am an SQP (a Suitably Qualified Person) for selling certain regulated medicines for 'Companion Animals', which are controlled by UK medicine law. This means I can supply products such as Drontal and Panacur to you. This requires a fair investment of time and money, to renew my membership each year, and to acquire enough CPD points each year, to keep my licence. Over the past couple of years I have kept very quiet about it, because the law requires an SQP to interact with the customer and physically allocate the product. With two stores now, the chances of you happening to catch me in store are pretty slim. The good news is that I have invested in training one of my staff in Hemel, who this month passed their exams and is now also a qualified SQP. This means we can now offer a much better service to you. All the same, if the main purpose of your journey to store is to buy an SQP product, please phone beforehand to make sure that an SQP will be there. Also, at this stage we hold very little stock of SQP products, with the exception of Panacur granules and Dronspot. Depending on demand, we may gradually increase what we hold in stock of regulated medicines.
At this stage, only the Hemel Hempstead store is licenced to stock these medicines, and not the Radlett store.
