Important news from Radlett!

Today's dude of the day. A Silver Labrador. He was absolutely lovely, and left with a new Perfect Fit Harness and lead, a new harness coat, and lots of treats in his belly.

We have started to trade direct with the Nature's Grub company, which means we can now supply some products at a more competitive price, and introduce a few new products.
Our 60g pouches of dried bone broth are now £6.99 instead of £7.99. Also pictured are two new products: 250g packs of dried pumpkin powder for £12.99, which is a digestive aid for dogs and cats, and 'Super Calm', which is a blend of calming herbs for dogs, which you can add to any food.

And for a change, here is a cat! One of our customers has just got home with their purchase of raw cat food, and Baker the cat decided that if he fits, he sits.
Our cat food sales are definitely on the increase since we filled a whole tall freezer with frozen raw cat food.

I've been slacking on the Facebooking recently. I have been covering the Radlett store over the last week or so, while staff take holiday. Radlett has gone up a gear this month, and has started to consistently deliver decent sales. I keep going in to work with various office work planned, and none of it gets done, because I spend the day serving many customers, which is a great problem to have. I popped into Hemel today, and a five minute visit turned into 30 minutes, because the place was full of customers and many dogs, and so of course I got involved.
Radlett is starting to attract more regular business from people in NW London, which is fantastic. Just today someone from Mill Hill declared that they like to get all their stuff from the internet, but they like coming in to our shop so much, that if they can buy stuff from us then they will. That's the magic right there. Shopping is something we do for pleasure, as well as necessity, and we will always do our best to make it a pleasure.

Unfortunately, Breederpack Complete Working Dog is no longer available, and we are unlikely to ever see it again. In its place we are stocking Arkwrights 15kg, in beef or chicken. This is £14.99 from us.

Today I learned the sad news that Kennelpak went in to administration on 3rd July. Kennelgate was their retail division, and gave me my introduction to the world of pet retail. At Choice Pet Supplies, we have been stocking many of their brands, which include Yakers, Whimzees, Breederpack, Dylan, Duchess, and Pet Bakery.
I will do my best to find alternative suppliers and products. The Yakers brand has been sold to Assisi Pet Care, who I have of course contacted. We regularly order from about 35 different companies, so this isn't going to cause major disruption to our business, but it is going to inconvenience a few of our customers. I will get on the case to plug the gaps, and hopefully find new suppliers for the same products.
