Freeze those kongs with mashed fruit, squish some yogurt on licky mats.. get those paddling pools out and limit walks..It's just too humid!!

🌟It's not an illusion🌟... you really are seeing a Labrador leave food!

Chloe was learning how to have some impulse control, and chose to leave the food without being told to.

Session 2 on our reverse middle .. now called "Park it". (Thanks Corrine!)
We're at an agility competition today so in-between runs I thought we'd do another short session.

I was more distracted, as is he! So my handling probably isn't as clear, but I always try to teach focus skills/tricks in new spaces.. but keeping it less than 2mins makes it easier & still fun 😊

Training my dog in real time with a new trick 🙈✌🏼
(sorry last group, we will be giving this a go later!)
My aim is for Zero to recall to me and then spin his rear end around to aim between the middle. (Like the finish/middle position)

To begin with, I recall him and reward with my right hand, and the left hand introduces touching at his waist.
I gradually use gentle pressure to manually turn his rear end towards me.

As he already knows the middle position behaviour, he is comfortable in this position.. it's about learning a different way to approach it... And hopefully the next few sessions will progress nicely to my end result and I'll have a new silly name for this one!

As I always say to my students, when teaching I always aim for 2-3 minute sessions to keep it fresh, fun and not boring/frustrating.
