Eye - stalk- chase that bunny (or squirrel or cat or pigeon)!

Dogs have a natural instinct to herd or hunt as we humans have bred them that way. These behaviours are self rewarding and intensely satisfying for your dog. The only thing is we're not able to let our dogs chase and catch wildlife or the neighbour's cat. It would be an upsetting experience and in some cases illegal.

The good news is that there is a way to teach your dog to disengage from that enticing bunny, and there are ways to incorporate their natural instinct in to play.

How do you help your dog enjoy the tasks they were bred for?

This is too cute! It also highlights the importance of keeping pups with their mum and siblings for as long as possible.
This is when they learn to be dogs!

It's also necessary for most rescue dogs to have another resident dog at home, to learn from and help grow their confidence.

This is when I'm happiest! On walkies with Macey Moo. She really prefers home comforts, so when she does venture out and thoroughly enjoys herself, it makes me happy 😊

Look at these two cuties! Bertie and Milly 🥰

I've been helping Bertie and his owners with some focus training, loose lead walking, calming activities and impulse control around lady Milly.

Bertie's mom says "Bianca visited our home and worked with my husband and I to improve my two year old terrier's lead walking and general attention Bianca was calm and understanding and my dogs loved her! There have been great improvements with both and I am hopeful that with more practice our little terrierist will become the perfect little companion. Would definitely recommend."

This is what it's all about! Helping dogs and their people.
