Oh the joys of trialling!
I don't seem to have much luck in draws, but despite being well down the reserve list, I was offered a run today.
Yesterday filled up with diesel, checked tyres, checked route (3 hours), bought gf bread (🤢) for sarnies, made sarnies and pumpkin soup.
Up at 3.45am today, took puppies out, made flask, heated soup, let big dogs out..... and William is limping 😣
Back to bed at 5am 😞
At least he had the decency to limp before we loaded up and drove 3 hours.
Poor wee chap is now on bed rest and hoping it's nothing bad 🤞

Sunday was a nice way to end the working test season with Maplecrest Nero (Henry) getting a third at The Vale of York Working Retriever Club's walk up test on field trial lines. As pleased as I am with Henry, I was also chuffed with how young William (Maplecrest Resolute) did.

We've had a great weekend!
Maplecrest Resolute (William) ran in the Tyne Tees and Tweed FTA novice test up at the fantastic Emblehope estate on Saturday and won. I couldn't be more pleased with this little dog at the moment!
Maplecrest Nero (Henry) ran in the Three Ridings Labrador Club open test in the lovely grounds at Aske Hall on Sunday and got third.
Huge thanks to both clubs and everyone involved for putting on these great tests
