We are so lucky to have a number of key supporters quietly helping everything come together behind the scenes. We couldn't run the courses without them, so shout outs like these are truly important.

Today's huge thanks are to the super stars at North Star Safety Group for being part of making it all happen.

(Who are North Star? A pretty cool bunch of specialists and all round good guys. They deliver hostile environment and first aid training, high risk management consultancy and personal safety / security support to the TV/News, Media, Government and Corporate sectors that gives people the safety, security and medical skills needed to work in challenging and hostile environments.)

The one who started it all as a 15th birthday present. We had forged a deep bond from when he was a nappy 5 yr old through till he trusted me enough when I was 18 to be fifth at Badminton in 1972. A year later - exactly 50 years ago- he won.

Great start to our Veterans' course this week. This course has been generously funded thanks to Veterans' Foundation Pictured are Instructor Jim with Aaron and Steve the horse. By happy coincidence Aaron is running the Plymouth half marathon next month to raise funds for Veterans Foundation!

It was a pleasure to meet Alan Rowe MBE of The Baton and get the chance to hold one of the Batons, (made from a handle from an original MERT stretcher used to extract injured personnel in front line operations). Their mission is to ensure that the sacrifice of those who serve is never forgotten, and to support those in need. www.thebaton.co.uk

A huge thank you to The Baton charity for your generous donation to Warrior Equine, which will be used to support military veterans and serving personnel who are struggling with their mental wellbeing. Thank you for being part of the Warrior family!

Wonderful Christmas news from the Veterans' Foundation! We're delighted to have been awarded funding from Veterans' Foundation to aid our work.

Alongside our existing veterans' courses, this also includes specific funding for a new Spouses' course, recognising the need for mental wellbeing support for the wives, husbands and partners of veterans affected by trauma.

If you don't already know, the Veterans' Foundation raises these much needed funds for serving and former members of the Armed Forces through their Veterans' Lottery. Please do consider joining the lottery if you would like to support their work. And who knows, you might just win their monthly £50,000 jackpot!
