Julie has 5 years animal care experience with 3 years working in a wildlife hospital and 2 years at a veterinary practice where she completed Year 1 Level 3 diploma in Veterinary Nursing. She also carried out triage nursing assessments for out of hours emergency service and holds a canine first aid certificate. Jo was a smallholder for 10 years where she kept chickens, ducks, pigs and sheep. We ar

e partners both in life and business and together we have 100+ years of life experience and have been pet owners since childhood. We can think of no better way to spend our time than in the company of animals. We feel that all animals are worthy of compassion, respect, friendship and support and we look forward to caring for your pets in the comfort of their own home.

Annette taught me everything I needed to know about caring for wildlife. We were joined at the hip for 8 weeks of training when I changed my career from dentistry to working in a wildlife hospital. I’ve never met a person who inspired me more. Total dedication to the job in hand. Missed greatly and a huge loss, but her legacy will live on through the amazing work that still goes on at Folly.

Jo and I would like to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a happy, healthy new year. A big thank you to you all for your wonderful support this year and making our little business such a success. It really does mean a lot to us. Instead of sending out Xmas cards this year, we have donated the money for cards and postage to charity.
This year we have chosen the Hearing Dogs for Deaf People. They train dogs to alert deaf people to important and life saving sounds. Just shows how truly wonderful animals are! 💕🐾
Have yourselves a very merry Christmas. We look forward to seeing you in 2026.
