Just a quick ear trim.
There is No such thing as a “quick appointment” 🐾✂️
A little reminder from behind the grooming table: there really isn’t such a thing as a quick dog grooming appointment! 🐶
Even if your dog only needs a small tidy-up, the work that happens before, during AND after the groom is still the same.
Once your dog heads home, the job isn’t simply “done”. UK dog grooming salons have a whole clean-up routine between every dog — and it takes time.
🧹 Hair needs sweeping up from the floor, table and surrounding areas.
🧼 Tables, baths and other surfaces need cleaning and disinfecting.
🪮 Brushes, combs and equipment need cleaning and sanitising.
🧺 Towels need to be removed and put into the laundry.
💨 Loose hair gets everywhere — on the floor, equipment, walls and even places you wouldn’t expect!
🗑️ Hair and waste needs to be cleared away before the next dog arrives.
🐾 And, of course, the salon needs to be left clean, safe and hygienic for the next client.
So when you see gaps between appointments, please remember that clean-up is part of the appointment. ❤️
We don’t just wave goodbye to one dog and immediately bring the next one in. We take the time to clean, disinfect and reset the salon properly.
That’s why “Can you just squeeze in a quick one?” isn’t always possible — because your dog deserves the same care, attention and hygiene standards as every other dog who comes through our door. 🐕✨
