I WISH I could just go after my last dog. Reality is if I did that the salon would absolutely stink!😷💩

I’m actually usually trying to fish dog hair out the drain. In this case a lot of hair after a German Shepherd🖤🐾

Grooming puppies is NOT for the weak and this is the most crucial grooming stage of their lives🧸💌✨

Grooming puppies really takes me back to why I started this job in the first place. Not to force a dog through a groom🙅‍♀️ but to enjoy the time with the dog whilst making them look beautiful. Building that precious relationship with them so early🤍

This and he’s in every 4 weeks🤯

I have no idea where he keeps it all. A perfect reminder on why you should get your dog groomed regularly no matter the breed!

At this time of year double coats need a lot of maintenance so they can carry on functioning as they do. Their hairs are made to trap cold air in the summer to keep them cool, so removing dead hair allows their coat to insulate them with the cool air that they need🍦🩵🧊

Teddy’s mum messaged me first thing in the morning suspecting he has fleas.

Teddy’s mum asked me if I can still groom Teddy and give him a flea bath.

Teddy’s mum was happy to pay for the flea bath and as she warned me properly I was able to get Teddy straight to the bath for his flea treatment. Therefore avoiding having to pay for an unexpected flea charge.

Every now and then I have this conversation with a new customer✨🐾

Unless you know someone exact overheads how can you determine what’s “expensive”?

Also if the place you had been going to (that was cheaper) had closed down. Obviously theirs many reasons why they could of closed but I’ll take a swing at the most obvious answer😘
