Maidenhead Aquatics at Hickstead is an established store with enthusiastic staff that have years of experience and are ready and willing to help everyone, from first goldfish to discus and large cichlids. Temperate/ unheated aquarium keepers.
Did you know many species of temperate fish aren't actually cold water fish?

Temperate Means they are more tolerant to a lower temperature range than tropical different species have different minimum temperatures as shown on our fish labels in-store.
If you don't heat your house your tank may not actually be keeping optimal temperature for some species.
To check it's worth having a thermometer 🌡️ on the tank, and if it does drop too low having a heater set to a low temperature like 18-20°c to help it maintain.
