Hi everyone,

It’s been a while since I last posted as I’ve been busy adapting to motherhood.

On September 19th I gave birth to a beautiful healthy baby boy who we named Louis. He’s been keeping me busy ever since.

I will be resuming pet feeding from Easter half term. I do already have a few bookings so please get in touch as soon as possible while I still have some spaces.

Since I started Mollys mutts and moggies back in 2020, I have only ever increased my prices very slightly. I will be increasing all pet feed visits to £14 per visit from March. This is still cheaper than other pet feeders in the area and with my 10 years veterinary experience I feel it is well worth the price.

I will only be doing 1 visit per day as I need it to fit around looking after Louis, However some days I may be able to do 2 visits when my partner is home.

Unfortunately I am not taking on any new clients as I want to make sure I am available for my existing clients ☺️

🐾This is a message to all my lovely, loyal clients and their wonderful pets. I couldn’t remember who I had informed and who I hadn’t so thought I’d send a message to all.

From September I’ll be taking a 6 month break from pet feeding as I’m due to give birth to my first child and will need some time to adapt to motherhood. It’s also the quietest time of the year. I aim to restart pet feeding from March/April 2024 as this is when it starts to pick up again especially with Easter Holidays.

I will however only be doing once daily visits so that it will be easier to fit around baby and nap times. I will also be taking baby with me to most pet feeds, however the days my other half is off I will leave him at home.

I will continue with nail clips throughout as I can fit this around days/times when my other half is home but will ask for 2-3 weeks notice.

If during the 6 months you are after the odd one or two visits message me and I’ll see if I can help. This will exclude Xmas day and Boxing Day.

Thankyou for all your support over the last few years and hope to hear from you all next year for pet feeding 😊🐈🐕🐇🐾

Happy New Year all. Sorry I’ve been quiet on my page recently. I’ve been super busy with pet sitting and life in general.

Below are some photos of my lovely regulars from the Christmas period.

I’m already getting bookings for the later half of the year so message me to reserve your booking to avoid disappointment.

I’m also still doing claw clippings (small dogs, cats and small furries only) however I’ve increased the price to £12.50 per pet (cat and dog) and £7.50 per small furry as vets are charging alot more so still a lot cheaper and hassle free for you and your pet.

‼️‼️With Bonfire night fast approaching here are some helpful tips to keeping your pets calm 🎆🎇

🐾Dogs

Walk your dog during daylight hours to avoid times when fireworks are likely to be set off.

Move your dog to a safe haven each evening before the fireworks begin. This should be a quiet area, so choose one of the quietest rooms in your home - a place where they feel in control. Don't interfere with your dog when they're in that area.

Provide toys and other things that they enjoy in the safe haven.

Make sure there are things for you to do too, so your dog isn't left alone.

Close windows and curtains to muffle the sound of fireworks. Blackout your doggy safe haven, so they can't see any flashes outside.
Put on some music (classic fm) or TV to mask the firework sounds.

Ignore the firework noises yourself. Play with a toy to see if your dog wants to join in, but don't force them to play.

🐾Cats

Provide hiding places in your home .e.g. under furniture or a quiet corner.

Don't stress your cat by trying to tempt them out. Leave them until they're ready.

Keeping them in to avoid them becoming stressed.

🐾Small furries

Partly cover outside cages and pens with blankets so it's soundproofed and hidden, leaving an area for animals to look out.

Provide bedding for small animals to burrow in.

Consider bringing them indoors - this will need to be done gradually, so plan ahead.
