Beautiful snowdrops in the garden of Brunnion Cottage. Very bizarre - we still have fuscias & osteospernam in flower.

The first twp photos are of the new dog deterrent gate/fence on the decking/summerhouse area of Brunnion Cottage. The second pair are of the existing dog deterrent gate/fence on the back garden of Brunnion House. We have installed these so that our guests can relax in their grounds without their dogs wandering off. Dogs should not be left in these areas on their own - a determined canine would make nothing of these barriers.

Took a drive over to one of our favourite places - especially in this stunning weather. Mylor Cafe, at Mylor, near Falmouth is not only dog friendly but serves the most delicious food. The surroundings are stunning and there are some lovely walks in the area.

After the unexpected snow and cold of February during which we lost so many of our treasured garden plants the shrubs seem to be giving thanks for their survival by flowering like never before.

We have exciting news - today we signed contracts with Sykes Cottages and hope to be up and running on their web site within the next week. There will be new photos as we have new settees and double bed in The House and new twin beds in The Cottage. We will post them on the page as soon as they are taken.
The gardens have taken a bit of a hit with the unaccustomed snow and freezing temperatures. As we specialise in many South African plants they are not looking too happy but we have hopes that most will recover and, as always, we will fill in with seasonal colourful flowers and, of course, our native primroses, violets & cowslips.
For our birding friends these photos of House Sparrows and a Buzzards were taken from and in the garden here yesterday.
