🌿 Equine Assisted Learning Days – Mondays at Helpful Hooves 🌿
We’re running a trial session on Monday 18th May for young people who may be interested in joining our equine-assisted learning days next term 🐴💚
✨ Trial Day Cost: £40 ✨ Usually £60
This is a great opportunity to come along, meet the horses, experience the environment, and see if Helpful Hooves is the right fit before committing to a term booking.
🐴 Who is it for?
Young people aged 10–16 years
Our sessions are particularly suited to children and young people with:
✨ SEMH needs
✨ EHCPs
✨ EBSA
✨ Or those who find mainstream settings challenging
📅 Term time only
⏰ 9:30am – 2:30pm
👥 Maximum of 4 young people per group
🔄 Full-day and half-day options available
Designed for young people who thrive outdoors, love animals, or benefit from a calmer, more hands-on approach, our sessions focus on learning through connection, experience, and meaningful activity.
Young people will spend time with the horses while developing:
✨ Confidence & self-esteem
✨ Independence & responsibility
✨ Communication & social skills
✨ Emotional regulation & wellbeing
A typical day may include:
🐴 Grooming and caring for the horses
🌿 Practical yard tasks & outdoor learning
🤝 Groundwork and equine wellbeing activities
💬 Social skills, teamwork & confidence building
🧘 Calm regulation time & reflection
