Approaching this very hot weekend, here is reminder on heat illness in dogs!

Dogs find it harder to regulate their temperature than we do so please take when deciding to exercise or travel with your dog!

If you do have any concerns with your dog contact your veterinary practice asap!

Since we are approaching another hot weekend, here are some tips for keeping our smaller furry friends nice and cool!

Rabbit can be equally affected by the heat as dogs and us! So if you’re struggling to keep cool chances are they are too!

So make sure they have the option to escape the heat if they need to, so you can both enjoy the summer stress free 🌈

If you notice your rabbit is struggling (high breath rate, red ears that are hot to the touch, low energy) please seek veterinary advice.

Give a round of applause to Indie for hitting her weight goal this month👏 Indie has been coming to our weight clinics run by our lovely RVNs for the last couple of years! It’s no easy achievement and takes a lot of dedication but as shes proven it’s totally attainable! We hope she went home proud with her reward of a carrot toy and treats🥕

Meet Buster, he was brought into us after being found taking himself to the shops this sunny afternoon🌞
Luckily We were able to reconnect him with his people through his microchip!
This is an important reminder to update your microchip details, it is a legal requirement and if your pet does decide to give independence a try you can be easily reunited!
