COMPETITION TIME ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Today saw us groom something different, a truly rare breed and this was his first groom. This dog was fascinating to be around, I've seen alot of dogs in my lifetime but never have I seen one as instinctive as this, it's an absolute pleasure and an honour to be entrusted to groom dogs like this.

The first person to correctly guess the breed in the comments wins a free treat box

In this heat we've been using the Artero Samba large drying towel to keep our dogs cool and they are great for drying your dogs off after a walk as they are super absorbant.

A great weekend for us at Jolliver as we attended the National dog show where our boy Ghost did very well and won the Reserve Challenge Certificate.

We had this little beauty in today for her first groom. Absolutely gorgeous dog inside and out, she's fed on raw and it showed straight away, such a healthy coat. The red nose points to some of her possible heritage and she is proof that there's no such thing as bad dogs, such an absolute sweetheart, she enjoyed hugs and a massage throughout, not exactly a greasedown and a shiatsu massage, more of a face and body rub but she enjoyed it all the same. Her owner also left us a lovely review too

Jolliver Ranch, a different grooming experience!

Today saw Teddy the Chow Chow come to us for his first ever groom. He's always been nervous around people, and never let's people touch him so was this going to be a real challenge for us and take us out of our comfort zone? Not a chance!

We spoke to his owner beforehand, we agreed it may take a few visits but we would take our time and we would only charge for the work done on him, this is where we differ from other groomers. We had him for about 2 and a half hours and managed to get his mane and coat groomed and tidied his back end up somewhat, he's due back in next week for legs to be tidied and finishing touches all over.

So why were we so confident we would be able to take on Teddy? We knew that simply showing Teddy the respect he deserves and giving him time he would enjoy being with us. We don't rush dogs at Jolliver Ranch, we want them to enjoy being here.

His owner was kind enough to leave us a glowing review.
