After finding a lump on Gavin’s face and puncture wound under his chin, it was off to the vets. He took it all in his stride and was admitted for investigation under sedation. Nothing was found at either site so we’re hoping that if there was a foreign body it has found its way out 🤞

Last Sunday was the annual Essex Spaniel Get Together Novice and Open Working Tests, and what a fantastic day it turned out to be!

This marked the very first outing for six youngsters from Dora’s 2025 litter (FTCH Ddraighelwyr Blaidd ex FTCH Shiveck Piccolo at Nossewej), and we couldn’t be prouder of how they performed. Watching them show such promise on their debut was incredibly rewarding, and the future certainly looks bright for this special litter.

Novice Results:�🥇 1st – Nossewej Dragonheart – handled by Emma White�🥈 2nd – Nossewej Dragonhunter – handled by Emma White�🥉 3rd – Nossewej Dragon’s Tale – handled by Tracey Jewesson-Newman�🏅 4th – Nossewej Sundragon – handled by Steve Newman�⭐ COM – Nossewej Dragonfly – handled by Steve Newman

There was more success too, with Tracey earning a COM in the Novice with Nessa (Shiveck Snowstorm at Nossewej), as well as being joint 3rd in the Open with Gavin (Nossewej Javert).

A huge thank you to VetSpec for their continued support. Both the pups and our older dogs are absolutely thriving on their food, and we’re so grateful to have them behind us.

Finally, thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way.

We’re incredibly excited to watch these youngsters continue to develop, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds!
