DOGGY SPOTLIGHT 🚨♥️🐾

Meet Maggie ! The most lovable scruff . Maggie is around 8.5 months old & off to a very funny and sweet start. She is a bundle of joy , often being as cheeky as she can get away with and demanding cuddles (not that she needs to demand at all 😍). Her favourite things include her broccoli toy, anything her humans are eating & pressing her doorbell incessantly to get outside first thing in the morning. I have completely fallen in love with this girly.

Maggie is just one example of how I love the dogs like my own . One precious little lady indeed ✨

In April , I will be walking 60 miles with YOUR dogs to raise money for Stand Up To Cancer . It would mean the world to me if you could donate . There’s a little bit on my page about why this is so important to me . A beautiful stay out in Fairlight . Lots of rain , lots of log burner fires , lots of cuddles and lots of fresh eggs from the hens . The sort of stay that makes me feel very grateful for this job .

LETS TALK … DOGGY SOMATICS 🧘‍♀️🐾🦴

Canine Somatic Relaxation combines the use of conscious gentle touch , slow movements and awareness in order to help dogs move out of any tension , anxiety or overwhelm they may be feeling . It fosters safety and a natural connection between pet and their handler - allowing most dogs to fall into submissive state and therefore aiding behavioural issues. With dogs like Pixie , this is much more connection based and is purely for her enjoyment and peace . In this video , we use “chest circles” , “full body strokes” or “spine slides” , “paw pressure” and “even pressure” upon the sides of Pixie’s body . These all combine to slow down her breathing, support her vagus nerve and release any anxiety she is feeling . ✨🐕✨

Nothing has ever brought me peace and happiness like this job . As some of you may know , I am autistic . Being autistic for me , means that I often find the world to be organised in a way that is difficult for me - this includes conventional jobs and conventional socialisation . Being with animals and having my own schedule has allowed me to flourish in ways I never expected when I started Trusted Taz . Animals never judge you and this is what makes them the perfect companion for someone like me .

Thankyou for booking with me and allowing that peace to grow 🌷💕 - here’s a reminder that I have availability for pop ins Christmas Eve , Boxing Day & New Years .
