So here are. Another Friday has come and after the events of last weeks heatwave I couldn't be happier than this weeks rota returned to normal. I've just started the day with walking Misty the Westie along the route we normally walk.

I hope everyone has a good day and just remember the weekend will be here, just hang on a little longer...YOU GOT THIS!! 🐾 🐾

The week is over and after this recent heatwave we've experienced I think we can all agree that it has been absolutely ridiculous.

Don't get me wrong, after working in the miserable winter weather I'm glad the sun is back and things have warmed up but there's no denying that this week has been a scorcher making it difficult for everyone.

Things are expected to cool down next week so let's hope we can get back into our regular routine. Hope you all have a good weekend, catch you on the flip side 😊 🐾

Hello everyone. I hope you're all well and are staying hydrated in this heat.

Just wanted to give you a quick update. As I've just had 2 cancellations I have a strong feeling that I will be working a half day again today and if this continues for the rest of the week I honestly believe this will be my work schedule until things cool down again.

I also want to take this time to remind you of the "Half Pay" policy I put into effect at the start of January. In the event we have to cancel our walks you don't have to pay the usual amount that way all parties are content under the circumstances. There is only so much I can do within my power but in the end as the client you have the final say in the matter.

Please take care of yourselves in this heat and remember to stay hydrated 🌞💦

Good morning everyone and another warm one it is too. Just wanted to give everyone a quick heads up I will be restricting the walks to the absolute minimum length of time today as by 11 today it's almost going to reach 30 degrees.

Fortunately the dogs I have on the rota today like Barney, Benji and Nova and so on all live very close to grass fields some paws won't feel the heat of the tarmac for long and I've got 2 dog walkers water bottles to help them stay hydrated.

Good evening everyone.
I hope you are well and coping with the heat we've been experiencing this bank holiday weekend.

Speaking of heat i have just taken a look at the weather for next week and temperatures are going to be close to 30 degrees in Hastings on Monday and Tuesday.

With that in mind I will be shortening the walks for all my hourly clients like Hudson and 'The Trio' as I cannot in good conscience take them out for that length of time. I do not want to run the risk of them suffering for heat stroke and become overwhelmed from the heat. I will however still carry out my duties to the best of my abilities and always put your dogs welfare first even if it means taking them out for just 15 or 30 minutes to allow them to go to the toilet and then keeping them company for the remainder of the time I spend with them.

Another wet and windy day in Hastings. Not exactly ideal for dog walking unless you’ve got a New Foundland.

Can I ask, why does the month of May feel more like April? Cos this weather pattern we’ve been experiencing should happened last month.

Fingers crossed for June being “shorts & T-shirts” times 🌞 🐾

To Some people returning to work on Monday makes them want to scream "No!" But to me it makes me yell "yes!" Especially when me and Hudson go out for our walks. Today he had more reason to smile because we crossed paths with another golden retriever, Merlin the missionary.

If you don't know who Merlin is id recommend you look him up on Instagram. I didn't get a photo of the 2 of them play cos I didn't think it was the right thing at the time but i can assure you it was the sweetest and funniest thing I've seen all day ❤️🐾❤️
