Tilly is only a young dog and she's so sweet and so intelligent🐶❤️

It Doesn't matter if you're training a younger dog or an old dog! Old dogs do learn new tricks.
The best way to train a dog is with a reward And if your dog is foodie well that's a bonus.
Tilly is an extremely intelligent young dog so when she wriggles and makes a fuss she knows you will get off her and let her bee. As long as your not being aggressive or too dominant over a dog you must try and not back away this doesn't mean get in the dogs face it means they learn to keep calm and still. Not saying anything when they create a fuss, just keep calm and deep breathing if you can, slow your breath down this really helps especially towards aggressive dogs.
With this being said there is a balance on how long you should do this and not to fixate on mine area for too long. Only reward when good and let go. Some dogs will spin into a frenzy and sometimes you have to set a boundary on a limit of their fuss a deep growl or a sharp bark will snap them out of this to calm down and think about what they are doing.
Everything as a dog owner should be done with calmness and repetition not giving your dog to much leadership or pressure.
This can be from just walking out the front door to feeding.
All dogs should be calm before they go on a walk sitting patiently with their leads on . Maybe try this pop the lead on a bit earlier than normal and go and do something else for ten mins see how your dog is ? the more you do it the quicker they will be waiting patiently for you to lead.
Every action you take your dog is learning from. Well done Tilly you did amazingly well❤️🐶
