Hi all
Temperatures are looking to be in the 30s for all of this week coming.
I will be doing 2 walks 7.30ish and 9am ISH. Anyone outside of this can be let out.

we are looking at temperatures of 35 degrees celcius. At best, dogs will not enjoy their walk and will feel unwell, at worst they will collapse and possibly worse.

Please know I am not saying no to walks just to sit in the sun (as anyone who knows me will know I will be inside hiding from it like the vampire I am) but I am genuinely concerned for dogs safety, not just whilst walking but also travelling in the van. Im afraid I won't be able to do a full days worth of dogs in 2 walks so if someone is home could we please cancel, or if you think your dog would be fine without a walk please could I just let them out instead. I love all the dogs lots and id rather they missed out on a walk than got ill, better a bored dog than a poorly one. I'm afraid I also won't be able to do any ad hocs or extra dogs this week, just the usual walks - sorry, hopefully the heatwave will pass soon!

I was trusted to look after beautiful Marlowe for 10 years of his life, he was the first dog I ever started walking when I started Lally Pet Care in 2016 and he was amazing. Affectionate and into everything, he was a constant companion many times a week for ten years, and he became a surrogate dad to so many puppies and younger dogs that walked with us. There's been a lot of loss this year.
I mostly walked him onlead so none of my photos are very good, as he was always looking at something far more interesting than me 😂 although I did find this lovely clip on my camera roll of him trotting along next to me. Sleep well Marlowe ❤️
