As I’ve got quite a few new followers recently I thought it would be best if I reintroduce myself so…

Im Abby, I’m 21 and I am the face behind Woofs&Barke’s Dog Grooming.🐾
I’ve been an ICMG qualified CPG for just over a year and a half now and quite simply it is the best decision I have made in life yet.🫧 I have always wanted to work with dogs ever since I was little, and I got very lucky that at the age of 20 the opportunity arose to do so. Let’s be honest with a surname of Barke it would’ve been rude not to🤣

I always thought grooming the smaller dogs would’ve been more of my thing, but over time I’ve realised I’ve got a bit of a soft spot for the big gentle giants, despite the fact I am only 5’4 so it is sometimes a challenge!😅

Below are pictures of my cavapoo Luna and my childhood dog Maisy the springer spaniel🐶 Nothing better than a furry friend✨

I feel so lucky with my job and am excited for what the future holds, even if that does mean a constant pocket full of poo bags, dog hair in the eye and the smell of wet dog following me everywhere I go. I wouldn’t have it any other way♥️🐾

It officially feels real that we’re shop owners now I can see my own logo on the windows!!😊
Love having a little nod to both mine and Hollie’s dogs Luna and Molly too with a cartoon version of them on display.🐶
Am honestly so chuffed!🐾

Found a pic of the shop back in the day, so crazy to think that our little dog groomers will be a part of that shops history too, eventually🫧

NEW LOGO INCOMING!🐾

As I am now the new co-owner of the shop, I thought it was time Woofs & Barke’s had a little bit of a freshen up🫧
Am so chuffed with how it turned out and am looking forward to seeing mine and Hollie’s logos on the shop windows in the very near future!

Thanks to all my lovely customers new and old, it’s been a brilliant year. I’ll be back open on the 7th January ready to see all your gorgeous pooches♥️

Just a friendly reminder about late cancellations and no show appointments.
I completely understand that sometimes these things cannot be avoided, however I would greatly appreciate that if you are unable to make your dogs grooming appointment, to please give me 24 hours notice.🐾
As i’m a small business, if you tell me the morning of the appointment or just do not show up, it can have quite a big knock on effect.🐶

Wow how has it already been 1 whole year of Woofs & Barke’s dog grooming?!😮

It has been an amazing year and never in a million years did I think that by 20 I’d have my own business in my dream job!
I feel so lucky!🥰

I wanna say a massive thank you to all of my customers for the kindness and support! Big thank you to all of Ky’s customers that I took over, I know trying a new groomer can be scary, so for all of you to be so patient while I found my feet meant so much!💕

I also cannot thank Ky and Hollie enough for the continued guidance and support. They are always in my corner cheering me on which has really helped me grow in confidence. None of this would’ve been possible without them😊

I cannot wait for year 2 of Woofs & Barke’s, there are definitely some very exciting things to come..🛁🫧🐶✂️
