My daughters friends family unexpectedly found themselves fostering for the RSPCA - MK this summer, a gorgeous mum cat and her 3 adorable kittens after they were found abandoned in someone’s garden.

Meet the crew:

🐾 Daisy (Mum) – all black, short-haired
The absolute sweetest, most affectionate, chilled-out cat you could meet. loves a cuddle and being around people. She was really struggling in the shelter and was not eating. She has blossomed the their in a home and they are desperate not to send her back so she needs an offer of a forever home 🖤

🐾 Skittles / Ruby – black and white, long-haired girl
🐾 Cuddles / Play-Fi – black and white, short-haired boy
🐾 Mog / Shy-Lo – all black, long-haired boy

Their daughter has lovingly renamed them but they also have official names given to them by the RSPCA.

A new Breed has today been recognised by The Kennel Club UK

Welcome to our newest friend, the Hungarian Mudi 👋
From 1 July 2025, the Mudi will become an officially recognised Kennel Club breed.

The Hungarian Mudi is a rare Hungarian herding breed with a rich history. Though references to Mudi-like dogs date back to the 18th century, it wasn't until 1936 that the breed was formally identified and is known for its distinctive traits: a curly coat, erect ears, and exceptional intelligence.

Dorit Powell from The Hungarian Mudi Club in the United Kingdom said: “The Mudi is razor-sharp, thinks independently, and is an affectionate, fiercely loyal family member. They are suitable for most types of living, as long as they are provided with a job or similar mental and physical stimulation and their human companions can accept their breed-characteristic vocal and herding behaviour.
