The boys are back! After a long month off for the pair of them giving their brains a break and a chance to just be horses. They were eager to come home and get tucked into their stables with their favourite feeds from and supplements from

They’re both on the competition balancer and meadow sweet with turmeric. They both get Pro-Pell Plus to give them that little boost and Cappy gets Glucosamine HCI 12,000 to help out with his arthritis which really takes a toll on him in winter although with this supplement I am seeing a difference in him!

Hoping to get cracking on with both the boys ready for winter champs next month!

Home now from another amazing Home nations!

Day 1:
Safe to say captain was an absolute superstar the first day we got there with literally 40 mins until I was going down the centre line! It was very rushed so rushed that I didn’t have time to roll my plaits so out they came to show off the native style 😂🫣. He was a little hot off his heels in the warm up and the actual test went great! We came out with 68.75% I was very happy with that score as there were a few more areas that could be improved! And we were the highest scoring pair on the first day (apart from an awesome freestyle) After a super night with a great opening parade. (Less happy about the welcome drinks and canapés IYKYK) ready for bed raring to go for day 2

Day 2:
I was slightly more nervous this day as this was the test that would count to team score and I didn’t want to let the team down! Captain warmed up super! The test was good I was very happy with him as he improved on a few things from the previous day! We came out with 68.875% so only a slight improvement but we did get judged by 2 judges one of which was a Paralympic judge that had us on 71.5%! (I did not need that ego boost!) Captain then had a massage and went to bed! Meanwhile I was at a little para family get together which was fantastic! I had so much fun!

Day 3:
After getting that 71.5% from one judge the day before I was hungry for a 70%! We got warmed up by which was absolutely amazing he felt fantastic!! And now full of confidence we went into our test and pulled out the best test I’ve ever done!! We got 70%! And that same judge had us on 71% Captain was so incredible and just mega!

We provided our team with two great scores of 68.875% and 70% meaning we came third and turns out I came overall highest scoring grade 3 out of bronze, silver and gold! We came home with lots of frillys and tonnes of confidence!

A big thank you to Chloe at Cotswold equine physio for setting up a treatment plan for cap!

A huge thank you to all my support system and sponsors!!

I am so sorry for being inactive for the past few weeks! It has been crazy! I have been training with one of the best Riders in the uk and I have been to winter champs with Captain as well as competing last Saturday in our first silver test! Between Hectic horsey days and Boring university work it has been true chaos!

However I simply couldn’t wait to post this! Meet SSF LE PRINCE D’OR (Taz) he’s by SSF Romeo (Negro X Furst romancier) Out of a Crown ace of pearl mare. He’s turning 4 in may but boy is he an old head on young shoulders! He’s simply the sweetest horse ever now he’s a lot bigger than captain as he’s 16.2hh so I finally have something to take up my leg! We’re taking things very slow with him and he’s more of a project for me and my partner .

Hopefully he will make an incredible Grade 3 horse! Now he wouldn’t be here without the amazing (His owner) whom I cannot thank enough! He truly was an excellent find as well as a stunning boy!

Today he got his saddle fitted by the best in the business Nigel ( ) and here’s Taz having a bath and a little spray with some coat conditioner!

Stay tuned for more Taz videos and updates all well as all the posts from my busy month! Throughout this busy month I have been nonstop on the go so I am very thankful for my bottle! Keeping me hydrated where ever I go!

A very amazing day at Prestige Equestrian for mr Oreo’s first competition with us!

With me he did a wonderful prelim to get 69.6% to come 3rd just 0.8 percent off of 2nd place but we’ve gain our qualifications for trailblazers!! Over the moon with an 8 for our centre line! He was a true dressage diva! Thank you so much to Eulalie and Annette for allowing me to compete him!

But today was really about Eulalie who stole the show in the intro and after warming up like a pro she rode the most beautiful test! She got 68.86% not only gaining her qualifications for trailblazers but also beating 5 SENIORS and 1 other JUNIOR! To take Overall 1st!! Oreo is by no means as easy ride as he can wake up on the spooky side but Eulalie has been working her socks off to make this test perfect and that’s what she did! A very proud coach moment!!

Thanks for being top groom once again!!

Oreo is beautifully turned out in products!!

Thanks for keeping me hydrated throughout the day!

Onwards and upwards now!! Championships here we come!

Para Dressage Championships ✅
After a very hectic two days at Hartpury we are now back at home getting some well deserved rest!

Captain was a good boy for his first ever stay away. (Apart from deciding that being a friendly horse is not for him and becoming a ballerina was I’ve never seen him so wild!) Both tests were good however I definitely need to do some more work on getting him confident by himself and working on him not tucking up into his chest!

Misty was incredible she was so calm for both days! She’s quite sensitive so I was aiming to have just two nice and calm tests without upsetting her which we accomplished through the help of Di Green my amazing mentor helping us warm up! In my warm up I took five minutes to myself to have a drink with my Water-to-Go bottle, get her bandages off and a cheeky fruitella.

Both of the ponies were incredible after their equissage session! Thank you Sally for the demo!

I really couldn’t have done any of this without the help of Jane Randall and Di Green (Para Equestrian Foundation) they have the best techniques and coaching advice as well as knowing me inside out to keep me calm!

Also none of this wouldn’t have happened without Ella Hinksman being the super groom, supporter and chief Napper! She used Balmoral Equestrian (Nigel Bexon) products to make ponies both incredibly stunning. With the help of Hannah Barringtons amazing plaiting skills!

Thank you for my mum Sandra Butcher and anyone else who also came to support me!

It was so good making new friends, memories and seeing old friends!

Day 3 at Para home Nations!

Misty warmed up a lot nicer and much more relaxed. I felt a lot more confident with her which helped her out a bunch!

I came out of the test thinking it was mediocre not our best test but better than the day before! I looked up at the screen to see we had another PB!! Of 66.25% safe to say I was blown away! I am so proud of this mare because she is definitely the hardest horse I have ever ridden! We have only been doing para for two months and our scores just keep improving!

Our time at arena uk was amazing thanks to the south and east team! Everyone made me feel right at home and it being my first stay away para show I was incredibly nervous! Safe to say we have lots of friends in the para community now!

Our amazing green teams came 4th and 10th so we came home with a lovely rosette!

I really couldn’t do it without:

Jane Randall and your amazing coaching that has completely changed my riding for the better!

DG ParaDressage and your fantastic advice and tactics to keep me calm! As well as helping me start this journey without you if still be riding without a set goal!

Nigel Bexon (Balmoral Equestrian) for all the amazing products you’ve given me to really help misty sparkle and look amazing!

Hannah Barrington for being the best groom, supporter and best friend I could ask for Misty wouldn’t have looked this good if I had plaited her 😂

Ella Hinksman for driving us up there and for being the best stay away groom ever! (Even if your midday naps were essential 😂)

Sandra Butcher for always believing in me and helping me as much as you can even if you only know the head and the tail and it eats money!

And everyone else that’s ever supported me!

Para home nations day 2:

After a very fiery and fresh Misty in the warm up I wasn’t filled with too much confidence to do our test. I relied on everything and has taught me to try pull myself together. Riding the test did not feel the nicest and I wasn’t very optimistic that it would be a good test however we came out looked back at the live scores to realise that we had achieved our best score together! It’s not much off our typical scores but any form of progress is still progress! We got 65.875% I was then elated to see that we came in 2nd place as we were the last to go!

Misty then rested the day away and laid down pretty much all day! I enjoyed some great cuddles with her! Looking forward to what tomorrow holds!
