A North-East veterinary home euthanasia service has been named as the Most Compassionate Home Veterinary Care 2024 by the SME News Northern Enterprise Awards.
Paws at Peace, which was founded by veterinary surgeon Kimry Sipma and partner Kjell Van der Beken, was established with a heartfelt mission: to provide a peaceful and comforting farewell to beloved pets in the familiarity of their own homes.
“Our mission goes beyond offering a service; we strive to create a meaningful experience that honours the deep bond between pets and their families,” said Kimry Sipma, whose beloved Chocolate Labrador, Kiko, inspired the founding of Paws at Peace after a peaceful goodbye at home. “Being recognised by SME News is an incredible honour. This award reflects the trust our clients place in us and the unwavering dedication of our team. It reassures us that we are on the right path and inspires us to continue providing local families with the highest standard of end-of-life care for their pets.”
Founded in 2021, Paws at Peace is a family-owned veterinary home-euthanasia service based in the North-East of England. Serving families across the North-East (including Teesside, Newcastle, Sunderland, Durham, and Darlington) as well as the North-Yorkshire region (including Northallerton/Thirsk, York, Selby, Leeds, Wetherby, Harrogate), they have helped hundreds of families say goodbye to their beloved pets with care and compassion.
Operating 24/7, including during the upcoming Christmas holidays, Paws at Peace is deeply committed to providing support whenever it’s needed most.
