Are you getting tired of being a vet and secretly looking for a way out?
Are you struggling to cope with the day-to-day work in the clinic, feeling anxious most of the time, and incapable of switching off?
I know for sure I did when I burnt out and left vet med for a year in 2020.
Between always worrying about doing something wrong, or people realising I’m not as good as they think, and my complete inability to set proper boundaries, combined with starting to have social anxiety due to the pet owner's demands and possible complaints, I resented vet med and was a shadow of myself.
I’d honestly thought that getting more experienced and wiser would make me feel better, but I was 15 years in, and it only got worse!
Because I was so messed up when I finally got out, I sought help to find myself again, finding out what I wanted with my life, and being able to be a decent mum to my teens.
I hadn’t heard about or even considered coaching before, but it just kind of fell into my lap as these things tend to do, and I went all in, because since vet med wasn’t for me, I HAD to find out what else I was good at.
It turned out that when I got myself back on track, vet med WAS my jam, still.
But after being away for a year and gaining a whole new perspective, I approached it completely differently.
Recruits4Vets were amazing, shout out to Ella Snowball, who was exactly what I needed to ease into locuming again, and I fell in love with being a vet again, something I had NOT even considered when I left.
Realising the shift I had had, that made the profession not only bearable, but ENJOYABLE, I started helping colleagues that were going through the same as I was (since we as vets tend to be very private and want to do everything by ourselves, we actually don’t realise how many of us out there are in the same situation). I trained as a life coach, and now work 25% as a vet, and 75% as a veterinary coach.
I then took everything I had learned through my own journey, and what I knew had worked on my coaching clients, and created a self paced course so EVERY vet can benefit from these tools.
And because I am so grateful to Ella and Recruit4vets, I wanted to do something special in return. I want any of you who are a part of their client base AND might be struggling with this to have access to the course at an affordable price. So normally it’s 499$ (I have quite a few international clients, hence in dollars), but I’ve created a discount code so you can access it for 160$ throughout January.
