A massive Congratulations 🥂🥳 to our amazing livery Shelley McConnell and her superstar 2 year old Low Moor Vidarr, a wonderful 5th Place at Defender Bramham International Horse Trails 2025 for the 2nd year running.

It’s a credit to Shelley’s care and dedication that this young horse takes a huge event like Bramham in his stride.

We couldn’t be more proud of you both.

Great day for Team Crain Syke at Otley Show on Saturday for Shelley L. McConnell and her 2 year old Lowmoor Vidarr.

Shelley hurt her ankle and couldn’t run and with Groom no.1 & 2 incapacitated it didn’t look as though Shelley could go ahead, then a lovely livery, Rebecca Middleton stepped up and did beautifully with him.

Vidarr’s a credit to the hard work Shelley’s put into him and Rebecca saved the day and won a very respectable 4th even though she’d never even handled him before.

Great job Team Crain Syke 👏 👏👏

Last weekend the Yard was host to the lovely Alison from Snaffles Photography, she did some great shots of a few of our liveries, horses & dogs. We can definitely, highly recommend her. (Photographers permission was sort to publish photos).

We currently have 1 pony sized stable available at our Livery Yard, North Rigton, 5 minutes from Harrogate.

We have:

Large, flood lit arena
Horse Walker
Lunge paddock that sometimes doubles as a rehab paddock
Off road Farm Ride
16 hard stand paddocks, ideal for laminatic or those with EMS.
Individual Storage bays

DIY, assisted DIY or full livery available.

Please note, we turnout to fields for approximately 6 months of the year and utilise the hard stand paddocks for the winter period (ie as soon as the weather turns poor), which have to be cleaned and rehayed daily.

We are a very supportive, friendly, down to earth, family run yard who live onsite.

Lovely to see Ellie Smith this afternoon, who rode Pebbles around the farm ride, along side Jane on Baylee and Oliwia on Paddy, 3 gorgeous greys together ###

We do wonder what Pebbles on the left had just said though to make Baylee & Paddy look so askance at her 🫣🤣🤣🤣

Wow, what a fabulous week for the yard at Bramham International Horse Trials, first we had Shelley with Vidarr placed 5th, then today we had the lovely Roisin Roddam and her fantastic horse Mac coming 9th (out of a field of over 100) in the Arena Eventing (0.90m).

Ladies we couldn’t be more proud and thrilled for you ###x
