Absolute tank of a ram, lovely example of the breed, some great bloodlines, lovely friendly boy, up to date with vac’s, wormers, kept in a closed flock. Produced some lovely strong lambs last two years.
Having to let two of our tups go as we only have a small flock now so thought I would advertise all our boys and see which breeding fellow breeders would prefer.

Some photos of girls from this morning, sadly no lambs for us this year as the sheep handler has his A levels exams coming up, however with us lambing later last year in May it gave the girls some time to recover over winter ready for this season.

As we seemed to have collected a lovely selection of Homebred Tups here we really don’t need 4 going forward so I am offering up for sale two boys form the choice below ⬇️ Bertie, Charlie and DaVinci are proven and we’ve had some cracking lambs off them each over the year’s, Charlie is an absolute tank taking after him mother, Springwater ewe, all are very good examples of the breed and all have dark ears which they have passed on.
I will be looking for 2️⃣5️⃣0️⃣ each

Bluestone Daisy looking well……
Sometimes things happen for a reason, as pre previous posts we entered our last remaining Ryeland ewes into Carlisle Ryeland Sale in September and unfortunately 3 ewes were rejected due to their pedigree ear tags not being legible, these ewes were a Springwater ewe and two of our homebred girls Bluestone April and daughter Daisy (who were actually my favourite ewes) so we brought them home with us and I have to say I’m so very glad we did as they have done well on the autumn grass and look great after a late lambing in May.
Question is do I resist the temptation to put them to lamb again after the prices/demand of Ryelands seemed to have dropped quite considerably 🤔
