The first picture is how I spent my whole day.. cuddling a tiny fluffy potato 🥔 as you all know I have a soft spot for my chows as I have one living in my house rent free 🤣.. they’re stubborn, lazy and so sassy but I wouldn’t change them for the world 🥰.. misunderstood teddy bears 🧸 this was Bentleys first ever puppy groom and he was just an angel! Jack is 9 month old rescue, his lovely owners took him on just before Christmas 🎄 he come to us very nervous and unsure, so we took our time with him, gave him regular breaks and extra cuddles and loves 🫶🏽 by the end of his groom he was taking treats, coming up to us for attention and wagging his tail !
When it comes to nervous dogs we would rather take a little bit longer and do it in there time rather than rush it.. we want to make it the best experience possible so they learn we are not here to hurt them only help them ❤️
At Sweeney pups we like to treat all of our clients like family as we will see most of you every 6-8 weeks 🥰

Mable 🥰🐾 so today I pushed myself to try the German Poodle Trim (terrier trim) I have been doing endless amounts of research and watching videos everynight to learn the correct length and shapes around the poodles body 🐾 it was a hard challenge changing her for the standard lamb trim to a completely different shape and she still has puppy coat ! You wouldn’t believe she’s only 8 months old 😍 Mable is the start of my new journey, I am going to practice a few more times and start competing ! 🏆 I have been to watch a competition in Coventry a few weeks ago to see what I’m up against and what I need to do ☺️.. wish me luck !!
I’m aware her top line isn’t perfect ! But this is because I shaved the base of her tail on her last groom so once this had grown back we can fix that 🥰

Mitzi has just been rescued/rehomed to one of my lovely clients. He was very sweet and kind natured and actually really enjoyed having a spa day with us. He is one of the biggest chows I groom and one of the laziest 💤 he lays down for most of his groom and actually really enjoys his pamper 🥰 his parents look after his coat beautifully so not much prepping before the bath was needed 🫶🏽
What Stanford had done;
✨ Brush out tangles and removed dead coat 🪮
✨ Bath & Soak 🛁
✨ Blowdry with conditioner and deshed 💨
✨ All round edge trim and sanitary clip 🪒
✨ gave him a BBL 🍑🤣
✨ mani and pedi 💅
✨ Ears cleaned 👂
