Hi - My name is Loki, I am a male neutered Cockapoo and I am 2 and a half years old. I am looking for a forever home. So that you don’t waste your time reading all about me you need to know that I need an experienced home, I will not be able to be homed with children and I need to be with another dog (I would prefer it was a female). So if you or someone you know meets that criteria please read on.
I was attacked by other dogs on more than one occasion when I was one year old and since then have been quite anxious. My previous owners tried to work with me but they too were anxious so life for us became challenging.
I have been in my foster home for four weeks living in a home boarding environment with four resident girls. When I first arrived I was very jumpy and nervous about everything but now I am in a routine and my life has structure I have really come out of myself, and my foster mum says I am a pleasure to have around.
I am neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, flea treated and wormed. I am quite a calm cockapoo not ‘bonkers’ like some I have met and I am not really sniffy either. I do not pull on the lead but bark sometimes when I’m not sure that dogs strange to me are friendly or not. I’m good on the lead and willing to please so easy to training. I sleep well on my own at night, travel well in the car and can be left for short periods.
I need at least an hours exercise split into two walks a day and additional time spent with me for mental exercise too.
It’s a shame there not more room here because I think if there was my foster mum would keep me!
