New seasons 🍂🍁

This little page is dormant mostly these days so just a quick check in to say I will be popping it in my archives for the foreseeable future from December ❤️ I'm very happy for friends to join my personal FB page for connecting. . . I'm not very active on social media, but I am still here behind the scenes!

As many know, I begin my winter this year without my beloved Blossom - the heart and soul of Meadow Ponies when we began in 2017 ❤️ it is truly the end of an era. Blossom was my family for 15 years.

My beautiful Blossom pony crossed rainbow bridge on 12.11.21 🐎

I'm still processing the loss of my precious girl, taking comfort in knowing this icy cold can no longer cause her pain and the emergency feeling of caring for a very poorly pony is loosening it's intensity. We miss her deeply. But I remain grateful that she was ours and we got to share her with so many.

I am very proud of P and Bon - grieving but knowing better than me the circle of life and nature as they adjust to life as a herd of two.

❤️ Thank you for the kindness, love and support which means so much and always will

Take care everyone Xx

Lest We Forget…

Those we love don’t go away
They walk beside us every day
Unseen, unheard but always near
Still loved, still missed, and always dear x

This coming week marks 5 years since we said goodnight to the most precious pony in all the world. My Bridie. Forever close by in her beloved meadow, and grazing in peace over rainbow bridge. She was the sort of pony to make you feel brave, and her gentle strength stays with me always. . . 🌻🌷 X###x

**** Easter greetings and an update *****

I'd like to just say a big thank you to the kind people in recent months who have enquired about my pony sessions. . .

For those who are new to finding us, in 2018, I regretfully had to close my gates to my much loved clients/friends as my main girl, Miss- Blossom-pony, became chronically unwell.

As part of the five freedoms, an essential and legal code of practise in animal welfare, of which I take very seriously; I could not ask Blossom to give to children in the way she had been, nor was it fair that I kept cancelling on excited children because the vet was needed.

It was a decision that made me quite unwell too, as each day I did not know how to fix this for my girl.

I felt as though I'd let down all the children who loved their sessions so much, in having to bring everything to a stop. Unwell ponies can be tired, cranky and uncooperative - I did not want the children's happy memories swapped with unhappy ones in seeing Blossom so changed.

Blossom is (remains so) my absolute pride and joy. . .

It has taken a long time to restore her health. We no longer ride, instead she is free to heal, and be a pony for as long as we have left together.

It has always been my hope that one day I could return to providing a safe, nurturing place for children to enjoy pony activities; with Miss B and my new little herd members. It remains very close to my heart, as all the children who joined us here do.

I look back on our memories made with huge joy at the fun times we shared. It continues to touch me that my small venture gained such lovely families who I could get to know as friends.

So, whilst I do not wish to lock our gates forever, I do still have to keep them closed at present despite a quiet hope that this won't always be so. . . It makes me so happy to see little updates of Blossom's riders enjoying new adventures elsewhere!

I really do appreciate everyone sticking with us and checking in. It means so much, especially in this crazy time we're all sharing in! Thank you.

Happy Easter and enjoy the holidays as best you can under the circumstances! 🌻 Stay safe everyone.

With love ### ❤️
