Tuesday saw a visit from Miss Luna!!

Miss Luna popped along to my clinic for a nail trim and a deshed 💅

Girl made sure that all cats knew she was here, every surface got a chin rub 😅🤣

My wee clinic gives the option for visits away from home. I carefully designed it to simulate a vet clinic visit. Seeing things that will be part of their visit as best as possible. From a set of scales, a waiting room display to something as essential as a fire extinguisher 🧯 All while getting the care they need from their very own vet nurse ☺️

Miss Luna enjoyed exploring the environment too much. When it was time to leave she tried to hide 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’ll need to cat proof a little more 😂

Daisy and Rosie 😍

These two girlies have come a long way! Nervous at first, they were not happy having their paws touched.

Now? Night and day, literally!!

Daisy (black lab) is still unsure, however, I know what works for her now. I started letting her guide the appointment, from where she wanted to sit to how we praise her. Now she has her system and we get all her nails filed 🙌🏻

Rosie on her first pawdicure looked at me like I was mad, skeptical of my intentions. Now? Not a peep from her! 💜

These girls love their grub, so a lot of bribery goes a long way! ☺️

Lola 💜

This girl needs a role in the next hit movie. She can act it for sure!

This girl enjoys salmon paste during her visits. She’s not a huge fan but the paste keeps her mind off the pawdicure 💅

After, the violins start playing 🎻 the pouted lip appears and you would think I had just beaten this girl up.

I think it’s more due to the fact that she doesn’t get to eat a whole tube of the paste 🤣

Blacky 😻

This poor boy had his first pawdicure appointment last week. It went well by all accounts. We got little to no resistance at the time. He behaved well. All nails trimmed to the appropriate length.

Immediately after, Blacky went to the patio door, looking at his own reflection in the window. Perhaps wondering how he got to this point in his life- manhandled by a random stranger who touched all his toe beans without permission.

Cheesy biscuits were offered and taken, but this boy may not be quick to forgive.

I can only hope he has forgiven his humans by now.

Lulla 😍

Lulla is sooo fed up with me, as you can tell, I had the audacity to visit her last week against her wishes. She doesn’t know how I know to come, she does not book any appointments. Yet there I am, ready to clip her nails and check her hair for knots.

I get 0 ⭐️, my cheesy biscuits get 10⭐️ and overall the appointment is a 2.5 out of 5 for experience.

Her mum gives me 5 ⭐️ but that does not count towards anything according to Lulla.

Maybe one day she’ll enjoy her Pawdicure 😂

How many of you got that extra hour this morning? Or did your pets demand to be fed? 😂

Robbie 💜

Robbie is disappointed that despite his long conversation with his human… she opened the door once again to me. He did not book an appointment, yet I came at him with brushes, combs and torture.

Robbie needs a deshed every now and then, especially at his pantaloons.

Is he happy about this? No, of course not.

Does he feel better and no longer get matted? Besides the point he says.

Robbie gives me 0 stars, the look of disappointment and needs some quiet reflection after his appointment.
