Another busy wee week and a new addition to the Ferniegair walks. Pia is fitting in lovely with her new pack buddies Cash and Dobby. Me and Clyde are still enjoying our one to one time in the beautiful crisp weather and the usual suspects from Bonnybridge are venturing in to a new area to join Lexi and Morse in falkirk for a change. They are having a blast with the new area and smells that autumn has brought. They are all mixing well and enjoying the change of scenery. Arca has now reduced down to a day as she is slowing down but remains ever present with her pack members. Cash slotted in for a wee evening walk this week and even made a house call to visit my aunt.🤣 made himself very much at home. I now have the odd space for taking on a new dog in the Bonnybridge area and a few spaces coming for the Ferniegair area in the next few weeks once Pia has settled fully to the pack. Its been a busy few weeks and a while since i checked in. Many apologies for the photo dump. Since last post I had a lovely petsitting week in Bonnybridge taking care of the lovely Holly and Blue. Clyde is coming on great with his behaviour training and is starting to mix in with some of the dogs. Ive had an extra visitor to the Falkirk walks in wee milly who has been a wee star and a return after school holidays of the gorgeous Arca and another Blue. The pack has missed them. Starting next week will be a lovely new wee dog called Olympia (Pia).The weather has took a funny turn but the dogs are loving the change in season. I hope you have all had a fab week and have good plans for the weekend. I still have a few spaces for the ferniegair walks but will only be taking one on at a time to allow them to settle with the pack. Please feel free to get in touch if interested. Hello peeps. I hope you're all enjoying the start of the Glasgow fair holidays. The weather has been very interchangeable,but that hasn't stopped us enjoying our walks. It was a busy week last week with a lot of stuff going on so im only just getting a chance to catch up now. Last week the lovely pixel had her very last walk as she has now retired. We will miss her so much. She has been a part of my pack for so long and out 5 days per week so it's been hard to imagine her not being out with us anymore. We wish her a happy retirement and hope neil and Jen keep us updated on how she's doing. I've had a few one to one walk/training recently and some holiday cover visitors too which has kept me busy. Im loving all the one on one time getting to know them. The extra supplies came in for my first aid kit for the van. While I hope I never have to use it, I am glad it's there. As an ex nurse I have went for covering everything so the bag is stuffed full. I'll post pics of it later, trust me it's huge 😁. There are a few new dogs waiting to come on which i will be introducing slowly to the pack over the next few weeks which im looking forward to and another pet sitting duty for a week for 2 lovely wee dogs in bonnybridge. I am still answering messages and will get back to folks soon. There are still spaces available for the Ferniegair walks if interested please feel free to get in touch. 🐾🐕

What a gorgeous day!! I hope you are all out enjoying it now or have plans for later tonight or over the weekend. With the weather being this hot we need to be extra careful with our pups in the heat. I made the decision to do very early walks for the doggos this morning so we could stay safe and enjoy the morning without worrying about the heat. Blu and gus are missing from the pack today as they struggle at times so they are staying home with their owners but we have missed them. It's also time to say goodbye to beautiful Molly and my petsitting duties. It's been an honour and a privilege to be trusted to take care of someone else's fur baby and I am very thankful for the experience. She's been great fun and the biggest cuddliest knee warmer 🤣. I'm going to miss the big goofball so much but hopefully I'll see her soon. Many thanks to her owners for the trust and making me and maddie feel welcome in their home. Also wanted to say thank you to all who have enquired about dog walking and pet sitting in the last week. I have started to reply and appreciate you all getting in contact. What I love about the summer is not only when we get good weather but when the walks get a little quieter and I get a chance to spend some one to one time with the dogs. At the moment I'm slowly transitioning one walk through to Ferniegair village and starting new dogs one at a time so I can get some quality time to get to know them. I've been having a ball with Cash recently who has settled great and I introduced Dobby to him last week. Today was Dobbys turn to get one to one time with me in the lovely sunshine up Chatelherault country park. I'm giving both boys time to settle in with each other and learn a little pack etiquette but we will slowly add a few more buddies over time. I hope you are all enjoying this glorious sunshiny day. The weather is expected to get warmer towards the end of the week so please keep your furry bestie safe in the heat. Hello peeps. It's been an awful wet day but we've had a blast here on the walks running about in the rain and puddle jumping. I'd like to introduce you to the newest Ferniegair pack member Dobby. Dobby is a 3 year old lab and will be joining us a few days per week. What a day to start his pack walks but we had a great time and the rain didn't bother us in the slightest. He had a nice controlled introduction to Cash and settled really well. He's an excitable boy and like his pack buddy Cash he loves the odd treat. The boys had some quality time socialising and practising sit stays and recall. I'm looking forward to more quality time with the boys to allow them to settle to calmer pack life but we will be adding to the pack over time. Hello peeps. Another guess the breed day.🐕
Molly is a gorgeous big girl. At 3 ¹/² years old she is tall, majestic and very strong!! She is bigger than she looks here and takes up a fair chunk of the couch. I had never heard of her breed and certainly never encountered her type before. Molly is one of my new petsitting dogs and together with my wee Maddie we'll be keeping each other company for the next 10 days. A wee solo walk and some bonding time first thing with the handsome Cash this morning up chatelherault. We took a walk upto the ancient oaks and spent some time playing and chilling with the trees. It's always good to get one on one time getting to know new dogs and their quirks. Cash is fun and full of energy. He loves a play and exploring, which I love too. Thankfully the rain stayed away. I have another new dog starting in the Ferniegair area in the next week so Cash will start to get new buddies soon. I still have spaces for anyone interested in my pack walks in the village. I am a Ferniegair local and know the area really well. My Bonnybridge walks are almost full but I still have space the odd day. So, I done a thing. On Saturday while you guys were all chilling, I took some time out to make some benificial additions to my business to make sure all the pups were extra safe on my walks. Thank you to Mervyn Gough K9 First Aid for teaching a great course on canine first aid. This course was so interesting and helpful. Can't recommend it enough. While general nursing skills, common sense and careful monitoring of all my dogs on their walks has got me by for the last 10 years this course has gave me a really good understanding of how to deal with emergencies if they ever arise. 100% recommend this course for anyone who owns dogs as it helps to know some of the basics. My van has always been equipped with a really good first aid kit which ive only ever had to use once but I will now be adding a few extras thanks to this course. 🐾🐕🚑

What a gorgeous day🌞 I hope everyone taking it easy in the heat. Me and cash started our walk early this morning up chatelherault before I headed back to bonnybridge for my other pack walks. We stuck to the shaded forest areas and had some lovely walks. Cash got another wee walk when I got home and had some leisure time by my dad's pond to chill and make the most of his day. I think he'd rather have been in amongst the fish but he was on his best behaviour. What were you all upto on this beautiful day ❤️🐕🐾
