The Woof Pack Dog Training & Behaviour have operated in the Calderdale area since 2018, we have a large clientele base and offer an array of services for dogs. We believe in positive, modern training techniques and care for every dog, regardless of breed.
Our mission is to improve relationships between dogs and their owners through the use of force-free training. Our customers understand that a well trainer dog is a happy dog and that they need to invest time into training. Our services include group training classes for puppy’s, adolescent, adult and rescue dogs for basic obedience, fun workshops covering looselead walking, recall, scent work, gundog training as well as hoopers.
The dog trainer position is to support our current dog trainer in delivering our courses and individual training sessions to clients.
We are looking for an individual that has experience within the dog training industry, any relevant qualifications as well as memberships with force-free associations. The work available requires a flexible schedule with availability on evenings and weekends.

Minimum Job Requirements:
- Must reside or be happy to travel within Calderdale.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to confidently use Microsoft Word.
- Must be confident handling and training dogs of all breeds, sizes and ages.
- Interact with the public within a professional manner.
- Be self-motivated.
- Work well within a team.
- Have a passion for people as well as dogs.
- Continuing education and increasing skills in human and dog training.
The ideal candidate must have:
A strong work ethic and drive, be honest and most importantly, a passion for people and dogs. Computer skills with the ability to write training reports. The ability to work on weekends and weekdays. Exemplary communication and customer skills to build rapport with clients.
Part-time hours: Minimum 6 hours per week.
Expected start date: to be discussed at interview.
Salary: £15 upward. Dependant on experience.
