In my obedience classes, we will stop for a short break in the middle of the session so you and mostly importantly your dog can have a breather. 💤 Learning to settle is a really valuable skill for a dog to have, no matter what environment they’re in… I will mostly likely encourage you to tether your dog up on the break so they can practise settling whilst in view of you, which is actually normally a lot harder! Over several weeks of practise in class and if you practise outside of your class environment too, your dog will soon settle easily, even amongst the biggest of distractions 😊🐾🧡
