6 months old, second groom… and already treating the salon like a spa. 😂

He was such a good boy today, although sitting still wasn’t exactly his strongest skill! After all the excitement he decided the grooming table was the perfect place for a little nap. 🥹💤

He’s growing in confidence every visit and I’m so proud of how well he’s doing. See you soon, little man! 🐾💕

He loves absolutely everything… except the hoover. 😂

He was a little nervous of the dryer when he first started coming to me, but now he takes it all in his stride. It’s so lovely seeing his confidence grow. 🥹

Of course, his favourite part of the appointment is still playing with the tennis balls. And he empties out my toy basket EVERY time! 🎾

Now all that’s left is to convince him the hoover isn’t out to get him… maybe one day! 😂🤍

2 years old, rescued, and the biggest sweetheart.

She was an absolute pleasure to groom today and I think she spent half the appointment either snacking on treats or getting kisses on her (very soft) forehead 🥹🐾

Safe to say she left with a fresh groom and a piece of my heart. ❤️

Meet Elvis 🖤

This gorgeous 8-year-old standard poodle came in for a full shave down this week.

He was such a good boy throughout his groom, even if I did have to clip his face on the floor because he was simply too tall for me on the table 😂

He also decided one of my new balls belonged to him… and honestly, who was I to argue? So Elvis went home looking handsome with a fresh haircut and a new toy. 🥹🎾💕

Happy Birthday to the real boss of Kelly’s Pet Parlour, Lily 🥳🐾🎂

Obviously the birthday girl had to have a little pamper in the salon today, followed by what can only be described as the level of greed they warned us about in the Bible 😭😂

A birthday feast, plenty of treats and absolutely zero shame from Miss Lily — who firmly believes that being the groomer’s dog means she’s entitled to unlimited snacks and preferential treatment at all times.

Please take a few minutes to read through my updated Terms & Conditions ahead of your next appointment. There have been a few changes, so even if you’ve been to me before, I’d really appreciate you familiarising yourself with them. 🤍

These policies are in place to help appointments run smoothly, protect the welfare and safety of every dog in my care, and ensure I’m able to provide the best possible service to all of my clients.

What a handsome boy! 🤍🐾

Meet 10-month-old Sika, who came in today for his full groom. Just look at all that fluff! 😍

Despite his huge coat, Sika is incredibly well looked after at home, with regular deshedding helping to keep his coat in lovely condition. It makes such a difference and means we can focus on maintaining a healthy, beautiful coat rather than battling lots of impacted undercoat. 🫧✨

Sika was such a sweet boy throughout his pamper session and left looking absolutely stunning. Thank you for trusting me with your gorgeous boy—I can’t wait to see you again! 🩵

Sweet boys Artie & Stark 🩷

These two came in for their groom this week and completely stole my heart.

Both boys have had some difficult experiences in the past, so they came in feeling quite nervous. Stark found the clippers on his front legs a little too overwhelming, so rather than push him past his comfort zone, we popped the clippers away and hand-scissored his front legs instead. Sometimes taking a little extra time and adapting the groom is exactly what a dog needs to build trust. 💕

Artie, on the other hand, decided his job for the day was to hand out cuddles… and I certainly wasn’t complaining! 🥹

Watching these boys leave relaxed, happy and wagging their tails is exactly why I do what I do.

A huge thank you to their lovely owner for leaving such a kind review. Reading words like that genuinely means the world to a small business like mine, and I’m so grateful you trusted me with your boys. I can’t wait to see Artie & Stark again soon. 🤍🐾

🤍 Sweet girl Nell came in for her full groom yesterday. 🤍

She was a little unsure when she first arrived, but with plenty of treats, patience and lots of love, she soon realised there was nothing to worry about. 🥹 By the end of her appointment she was completely relaxed and an absolute superstar.

Such a gentle soul, and officially Certified Good Girl™. 🐾✨ I can’t wait to see you again, Nell! 💕
