From day one I’ve attached my own ID tag to the dogs in my care as a safety precaution, one which I hope will never be needed!
Recently whilst out on a walk a friendly Spaniel came running over and started playing with my group of dogs but no owner in sight. I rang the number on the ID tag but no answer, I put the dog on a lead and kept it safe until the owner later called back and the dog could be reunited.
This experience proved to me the importance of having my contact details on each dog’s collar in my care just incase we ever got separated. I would be able to immediately take a call and be reunited faster than the owner who would more than likely be at work and possibly not able to take a call.
A couple of weeks ago I bought new ID tags as the old ones were looking a little tired and needed replacing. Thank you to OTL PET BUSINESS SUPPLIES for making personalised tags for my walkies family to wear, they are great and look fab on the dogs!!!
