🚫 Bin the Heat Lamps! 🗑️

If you're still using a heat lamp for newborn puppies, it’s time for a reality check. Heat lamps are outdated, unsafe, and downright dangerous for whelping. Just because "it's always been done this way" doesn’t mean it's right! ❌🐾

🔥 Dehydrate Puppies – Heat lamps suck the humidity out of the air. Dehydrated puppies = weak puppies = risk of death. 💧🚫
🔥 Overheat Puppies – Unlike heat mats where pups can move away, lamps blast heat everywhere. No escape = puppies cooking. 🥵🐶
🔥 Safety Hazard – One slip, broken bracket, or bulb too close can scald or cause fires. 🔥🚒
🔥 Temperature Guessing Game – Adjusting height and angles isn’t reliable. Getting it wrong can be lethal. 🎯💀

A (slightly belated) congratulations is in order! Congratulations to first-time mum, Winnie, on her unbelievably-scrumptious new arrivals.

Ultrasound scans are so much more than just 'confirming' pregnancy, they help you pinpoint her estimated due date and how many puppies to expect - all whilst in the comfort of your own home. For a first-time breeder this information is vital when preparing for a litter!
