MAY photos! ☀️
We’ve been keeping cool in the shade and the water recently, they’ve all been doing lots of swimming! 🌊
The muddy puddles have dried into sludge and the dogs just love going in and getting caked in it - often covering their faces too! And after their coats are wet from the water the dogs often have zoomies and race around. Safe to say they’ve all had another good month! 🐾😆

APRIL photos!
This month it’s been dry again so we’ve been making sure to get to some water on our walks, but there’s also lots of thick mud around - which means the dogs are either spotless or completely filthy! A few of them enjoy shoving their faces in the muddiest of puddles! At least they’re all enjoying themselves!!

I wonder what the joke was that she told him!! 😆🤣

MARCH photos (part 2)
Photos from the second half of this month, the sun came out and the ground has dried up a lot, although they’re still all good at finding the muddiest of puddles!
Every time I go to make a post I seem to have taken more and more photos! We’re lucky there’s no such thing as too many dog photos - right? 🐾📸

MARCH photos (part 1)
The first half of this month we had lots of different dogs out. Sammi @ Bark and Stride was off work for an operation so some of her dogs came out with us. They all seemed to enjoy being out in different groups (although we often meet up so a lot of them know each other anyway!)
It was a pleasure to walk all these pups and so lovely to watch them discover new playmates, or just find another dog that likes to walk at the same speed and sniff the same spots. (But I have to admit, it was a relief to hand them all back, what a busy couple weeks!!)

FEBRUARY photos! The mud has been absolutely awful this month! We’ve all been wading through the sludge!
But this past week it’s been more obvious that spring is coming, we’ve had drier days, and the bluebells are really coming up, I can’t wait for them to flower. 🌱
As always the dogs have been happy no matter the weather, we definitely load back in the van quickest in the pouring rain, but they all enjoy running around in it whilst we’re out. 😆

JANUARY photos!
Another rainy month! 🌧️ The dogs have been either plastered in mud or expertly tiptoeing around it! But the bluebells are starting to peek through the fallen leaves, spring is on the way! 🌱🤞

These two are having a blast!!

This is such a lovely example of dog play! Even with teeth showing, snapping, and a bit of grumbling, these dogs are having a great time - it’s all normal dog communication.

Their bodies stay loose and wiggly, and you can see little pauses where they stop and check in with each other to make sure they’re both still having fun.

Near the end, things get a bit more intense and the lab takes a moment to shake off that bit of stress before jumping right back in. The game only continues when she decides to start it again, which is exactly what good play looks like.

I love watching how all of the dogs interact with each other, they can say so much with just the smallest movements.

(Although these two did manage to choose the muddiest part of the field to play this game!)

DECEMBER photos!
Late post again! It was wet and muddy last month but we had quite a few cold days where the ground was hard with frost and the pups came home dry! ❄️
And of course I got my new van! The dogs have got on well with it, although I miss the mondeo, this van has definitely made dog walking much easier.
A big thank you to Pets and Steps for the DT boxes from my pups to yours 🐾
