I really hate to remind everyone.
Since January 1st we have had:
7 late cancellations, 4 of which refuse to pay anything and become rude
3 no show appointments and again refuse to pay because it’s January.
We have had 13 late arrivals (15min or more for drop off and collections)
As a small business, late minute cancellations and no shows are really tough.
Please understand that when I charge a cancellation fee it's not to be mean, it's because I cannot afford to lose income.
I will always be as accommodating as possible and regularly let it slide, but over time it really does take a hit on small business owners.
I love what I do and I am incredibly grateful for everyone of you who supports my business.
To keep things running smoothly and to ensure I can continue offering the best service possible, this is a gentle reminder of my policy’s.
As a small business, I have fixed overhead costs, including rent, utilities, and professional supplies-these remain the same regardless of whether an appointment is kept. I also have staff salaries to pay when you don’t show up I’m still paying them for that time along with everything else.
Today alone we have lost over £100
When a cancellation occurs with less than 48 hours notice, I am usually unable to fill that time slot, which directly impacts my ability to sustain my business.
• Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice will be subject to a 50% fee.
• No-shows will be charged 100% of the reserved appointment amount.
• If this fee is not paid I will be unable to accommodate further appointments.
Thank you for your understanding and for your continued support of my business
