My absolute dream girl smashing her first ODE of the season yesterday at

29.7 dressage put us into the lead, just one silly pole down showjumping (i don’t think my legs were on at all) and an flawless clear 0.5 seconds inside the optimum time.

I guess this means we’re ready to step up a level. 😬

Who’s the moron that double booked Mabel onto two separate competitions on the same day?
That would be me…

Realising this on Friday after class times had already been given, I did some panic emailing trying to find a solution that didn’t result in my loosing my entry fees.

So off Hugo and I went first thing this morning for his first go at Combined training at . He absolutely excelled himself with a 70.9% dressage and a clear showjump round to win his class 😍🧡. May just make an eventer yet!

Then whizzed an hour up the road to meet who’d brought Mabel to for me.
Another novice test under our belt with a 69% and a second place. 🥈
Then another go at Elementary HC for a very respectable 64%.

Beyond proud of these two, they’re both so special in their own right.
Thankyou to for holding down the yard, transporting horses and calling my tests today, couldn’t have managed it without you!!

Completed his first Novice dressage test today on 63.5% at a new venue for him.
He’s come such as long way from the wobbly 4 year old I brought a year and a half ago, I’m so proud of him. 🫶🏻

Riding field day for Jeff!

Now the ground has dried up (perhaps a little too much) figured it was about time Jeff got acquainted with my riding field, which also meant introducing him to some logs - cross country schooling training has started. 😉

A little like Bambi on ice, all 17.2hh of him is a lot to coordinate on grass, but he coped well and wasn’t fazed being on the grass! Such a cool baby. 😍
