A Very Special Congratulations to Team Brodie!

Today marks the end of one chapter and the beginning of another as Team Brodie has officially passed their final Public Access Test!

Behind every certificate and every milestone is a journey filled with hard work, perseverance, trust and dedication. There have been new challenges to overcome, skills to learn and countless hours spent building the incredible partnership we see today.

Brodie has shown what can be achieved through patience, consistency and a strong bond with their handler. Watching this team grow in confidence and capability has been an absolute privilege and today’s success is so richly deserved.

Passing a Public Access Test is about so much more than demonstrating good behaviour in public. It reflects a partnership built on trust, understanding and teamwork - the foundations of every successful assistance dog team.

We are incredibly proud of everything Team Brodie has achieved and grateful to have been part of their journey. This is a moment worth celebrating and we know there are many more successes ahead.

Please join us in congratulating Team Brodie on this amazing achievement!

Well done, Brodie and handler - you've earned every bit of this success!

Team Ricksen say's- "It's back to classes this week - No more holiday's!"

Yes Ricksen your right, it's back to training to be a life saving super pup for your human.

Although this lovely sunny weather is far too hot to be training in outside, Our training classes are all held indoors to allow us to train all year round - no matter the weather :)

Sunny weather is great for humans , but not for dogs!

Hot weather can be deadly for dogs so knowing how to keep them cool and safe is essential!

Cooling coats, Doggie ice poles and paddling pools are great for keeping pups cool at home.

Here are some common questions I hear -

Q) What if I don't have a garden to toilet my dog in?
A) I hear you! In fact I've been in this position myself. Short walks to a local grassy patch to toilet your dog is more than enough during hot times during the day.

Q) how can I keep my dog mentally stimulated?
A) snuffle mats, filled cardboard boxes, long last frozen chews, a basin of water filled with ice cubes and bits of fruit/veg, sniffing games, easy training.

Q) I need to go to the shop, I'll take my dog.
A) NO. NO, NO 🙂‍↔️ - Hot cars KILL dogs! Your dog will be much more safer and happier at home than sitting in your car while you pop into Tesco!

If the pavement is too hot for the back of your hand - it's too hot for your dog.

FOUND! FOUND FOUND ☺️

🚨 MISSING ASSISTANCE DOG TRAINING VEST 🚨

One of our clients has unfortunately misplaced their brand new Bond & Behave assistance dog training vest.

We believe it may have been left in the car park at The Pennypit Family & Learning Centre - SCIO . We’ve checked vehicles and searched the surrounding area but sadly still haven’t found it.

The vest is very distinctive — purple, fully branded with Bond & Behave logos and “Assistance Dog In Training” embroidered on it, so there’s really no mistaking where it’s from.

This vest is important for a dog currently in training, and we’d be incredibly grateful if anyone who has seen it or picked it up could get in touch.

📩 Please Facebook message our page
📧 Or email: [email protected]

Even a quick share could help get it back to the team it belongs to.

Thank you everyone 💜 🩵💜
