‘Not longʼ is too long. If you canʼt take them with you when you leave the car - leave them safely at home.

Heatstroke is a veterinary emergency. Symptoms include:
Heavy panting
Excessive salivation
Rapid heart rate
Bright red gums and tongue
Weakness, confusion or collapse

If you see a dog in distress in a hot car, first call 999, then seek veterinary advice urgently.

We have a young male cat look for a new home. He is very sweet, cuddly and full of character, he is with us through no fault of his own.
He is now looking for his forever home, however he does come with a list of personal demands.
- ONLY cat in the house
- dog/dogs if they are already used to living with previous cats
- a full bowl of food at all times
- a human who will love him as much as he will love them
