Polite notice from me and Firefly 🐾

Please note that, although we do our very best in the salon, we cannot prevent the effects of extreme heat. Some appointments may need to be rearranged depending on the weather. At the moment, it looks like we should be fine, but your pups’ safety will always remain my top priority 🐾

Please make sure you’re keeping your pups as cool as possible with cold treats, cooling mats, or cooling jumpers. We also kindly ask that dogs are not walked to the salon or the park during the hottest parts of the day 🐾

We are doing our best in the salon to accommodate for this heat as Emma at doggie diva has mentioned in this post 🐾

This week we are in for a hot one! ☀️🐶
Hope everyone is having a lovely Bank Holiday.

Please do not walk your dogs to their appointment in this heat. Our showers are set to cool, and the heat is turned off on our dryers to help keep everyone comfortable.

If at any point the salon becomes too hot (air conditioning pending), or if your dog shows any signs of overheating, I will contact you to rearrange your appointment when the weather is cooler. Your dog’s safety always comes first 💛

Our self-service wash is open tomorrow, but please call in advance to book. We usually need around 30 minutes to make sure the bath is ready for you.

Our opening times this week are slightly different than usual due to ongoing water leak detection and repair work:

Monday – 8:00am–2:30pm
Tuesday – Pixie Paws in the salon only
Wednesday – 8:00am–12:30pm, followed by Pixie Paws in the salon in the afternoon
Thursday – 8:30am–5:00pm
Friday – Closed
Saturday – 8:00am–5:30pm
Sunday – Closed

Meet the team behind Doggie Diva 🐾

I’m 27 years old and the proud owner of Doggie Diva. I’ve been grooming for 7 years and I’m fully qualified with City & Guilds, as well as pet first aid trained. Grooming has always been my passion, and I’ve worked hard to build Doggie Diva into the welcoming, trusted salon it is today.

I’m currently fully booked, and I’m so grateful to have an incredible team by my side.

Hollie from Pampered Pooches has been with me for 3 years and has truly been my rock through everything. She’s supported me every step of the way, and I honestly wouldn’t be where I am today without her encouragement and constant push. Hollie is City & Guilds qualified, pet first aid trained, and I’m so proud to support her and her business just like she’s supported me.

We also have Holly from Pixie paws who originally started with us on work experience. Over the last 2 years, she’s grown so much and now has her own little business, which has been amazing to watch. We’re so proud of how far she’s come, and Holly is taking on new bookings from the end of May.

With another table renter joining us very soon, Doggie Diva continues to grow, and we couldn’t be prouder of the supportive, hardworking environment we’ve created. Some days can definitely be a little more hectic than others, but we pride ourselves on making the salon as stress-free, calm, and enjoyable as possible for every dog that comes through our doors.
