Podium Place 🥉
Last week we headed down the road to our first outing of the season at Oasby Horse Trials.
It was Pumba’s first registered run and he certainly didn’t disappoint! The rain held off this year, but the wind was something else — Callum spent most of my dressage test making sure my grandma didn’t blow away! 🌪️
Despite the atmosphere, new surroundings and questionable weather, Pumba worked his socks off in the dressage to produce a 26.8 and put us in a great position going forward.
He jumped an awesome clear in the showjumping — feeling confident and focused despite the blustery conditions.
Out on cross country he was calm, brave and took everything in his stride, finishing clear and inside the time to secure 3rd place , with just 0.8 separating the top three.
I’m so proud of how he handled the day and how he keeps stepping up every time we go out.

We’d like to take a moment to say a huge thank you to our incredible sponsors, family, friends, and coaches for your ongoing support and loyalty. None of this is possible without the people who stand behind us, and we’re truly grateful for every message, every helping hand, and every word of encouragement along the way.
For the most part, things didn’t quite go to plan this season — but that’s sport. We still came home with a few top ten placings with Pumba and Sparrow, and those results have only made us hungrier to aim higher, train harder, and keep pushing forward.
We’ve been a little quiet on social media lately, but for very good reason. Behind the scenes, we’ve been busy expanding PSK — growing not only our business, but also our facilities and the services we offer. There’s some exciting news coming, and we can’t wait to share more in the new year.
Now it’s time to get our teeth into preparations and set our sights firmly on the 2026 season. Onwards and upwards.

Bucking great day!

This week we took a trip out to Frickley international horse trails, a track I’ve yet to ride but excited to take on.

We had a great start to the dressage with things going rather smoothly, some lovely movements and some great transitions, only for sparrow to decide he would like to be a rodeo bull for the afternoon!

With the dressage test down the pan, and sat dead last, we had some making up to do. The showjumping course was all up and twisty, so I knew we had to be going in strong. He worked in brilliantly and absolutely rose to the occasion, flying the course and returning clear!

Onto the cross country which walked very bold and fairly technical. Sparrow gave me the nod on the way over to the start box with a few little bops, he was raring to go. He did a sterling job, he went clear and brought me back safe and inside the time. He worked so hard for the redemption and we come home with a double clear to finish just outside the top 10, which isn’t a bad climb from the very back!
