Just thought I'd check in, as due to personal circumstances, I haven't been doing my dog walking job lately. Thanks for your understanding ❤️
As it's now public, I was aware of another dog walker who was under RSPCA investigation and had 11 of her own dogs taken from her. The conditions her and the dogs were living in, was beyond appalling. I've seen pictures today and I've honestly never seen anything like it! All whilst going out everyday to walk other people's dogs, offer dog behaviour training and even home boarding.
This got me thinking how much trust it takes to allow someone into your home and care for your pets.
I appreciate this so much!
It's also got me thinking, how many of us fall for the fancy pics we see online of a business.
If you're using a dog walker with a van, have you seen in the back of the van? Are you fully happy with it? Are they only in there for transport to and from walks?
It's so important to ask these questions.
This particular dog walker visited someone I know for a lengthy period of time to have a catch up, and then returned to her van, where there were several dogs locked inside. If that was my dog inside there, I'd have been furious!
There are plenty of great dog walkers, such a shame there are some who are in the wrong job 🙁
