A bit of honesty…

Running an independent pet food shop has never been easy, but right now it’s harder than it’s ever been.

We’re seeing more and more people choosing the cheapest option available, and we completely understand why. The cost of living affects us all, and every pound matters.

But here’s the difficult truth…

We can’t compete with businesses selling the very cheapest raw food on the market.

Not because we don’t want to. Because we won’t compromise on the things that matter.

Every brand in our freezers has been chosen because we trust it. We look at ingredient quality, manufacturing standards, transparency, consistency and whether we’d happily feed it to our own dogs. If it doesn’t meet those standards, it doesn’t make it onto our shelves.

Could we stock cheaper products?

Yes.

Would it mean compromising on the quality and trust we’ve spent years building?

Absolutely.

And that’s a line we won’t cross.

The sad reality is that independent shops across the country are disappearing. Rising costs, online competition and the race to the lowest price are making it incredibly difficult to survive.

We don’t want Naturally Raw to become another one of those stories.

When you choose to shop with us, you’re doing so much more than buying a box of dog food.

You’re helping to keep independent expertise alive.

You’re supporting a local family business that genuinely cares about every customer and every pet.

You’re helping ensure there’s still somewhere you can walk into for honest advice, carefully chosen products and people who know you and/or your dog by name.

We never expect anyone to spend money they don’t have, and we’ll always respect that everyone has a budget.
